    Abdur-Rahim's 3 helps Georgia shock No. 18 Memphis 82-79

Memphis team that moved into the top 10 after opening the season with five wins suddenly is facing a mini-crisis following back-to-back losses.

Jabri Abdur-Rahim's 3-pointer with less than 2 minutes remaining gave Georgia the lead, and the Bulldogs snapped their four-game losing streak by beating No. 18 Memphis 82-79 on Wednesday night.

No. 16 Alabama takes down No. 3 Gonzaga 91-82

    — When Nate Oats said yes to the idea of Alabama making the trip to the Pacific Northwest and playing a glorified home game against Gonzaga, he knew it would be an early test of where the Crimson Tide stood.

Alabama's coach also knew his team could end up being a tough opponent for what was supposed to be a showcase event for Gonzaga.

"With the way we play, we can be dangerous at times with how many threes that we shoot and they knew that," Oats said. "We hit a few tonight and that helped a little bit."

Jaden Shackelford scored 20 of his 28 points in the first half, Jahvon Quinerly and JD Davison both hit key 3-pointers, and No. 16 Alabama held off Gonzaga's big second-half rally for a 91-82 win over the third-ranked Bulldogs on Saturday night.

No. 20 Florida bounces back from stunner, handles UNF 85-55

Colin Castleton barely slept after Florida's humbling loss to Texas Southern. He couldn't stop thinking about everything the Gators did wrong — turnovers, defensive lapses, less-than-ideal shots.

He surely will get a better night's rest now.

Castleton had a career-high 26 points to go along with eight rebounds, Myreon Jones added 14 points and No. 20 Florida ended a two-game skid with a 85-55 victory against North Florida on Wednesday night.

Late dunk lifts No. 9 Alabama over No. 14 Houston 83-82

Alabama got a huge dunk from JD Davison and then survived a final sequence that left Houston seething.

The freshman's putback dunk with 33 seconds left and a final defensive stop gave No. 9 Alabama a 83-82 victory over No. 14 Houston on Saturday night for the Crimson Tide's second straight win over a team coming off a Final Four run.

No. 25 LSU recovers from slow start, beats Ga. Tech 69-53
