The team isn’t going anywhere as constructed anyways. Time to evaluate and get the right pieces in and start fresh next season. To me, this is already a lost season. If they keep playing this poorly, we’ll realistically be in the running for a top 10 draft pick, which can only help.

Local “team insiders” again have nothing on this or any other rumblings.

Fire Cronin right now if this is true. Nurk and Roco may not be playing to potential, but if Cronin can’t see that the biggest thing holding this team back is CJ “the Human Turnstile” McCollum, then he needs to go as well. This team will never sniff a championship (or even a WCF again) with this midget backcourt.

This would be fucking great. Then call up the Sixers and negotiate down from CJ 3 picks and 3 swaps. Get Simmons for CJ 2 pick (2026 pick top 4 protected) and 2 swaps.

Dame, Norm, Simmons, Larry, Sabonis with Ant, Nas, Snell, eventually Zeller. I think we could do something special with that group.

Nurk & RoCo for Sabonis would be great, but no way Indy/Pritchard would make that deal. That the kind of deal NO tried to orchestrate then wondered why couldn't get it done.

Except our new GM isn't hated by Indiana's front office like our old one was.....

I've long thought we'd need to trade cj in the off-season to a terrible team with a lot of cap room, like the Knicks. His contract is absurd.

Jay Williams suggested the Blazers trade Damian for Kyrie, since Dame is "asking" for that extension (which he can't yet anyways). And it gives Kyrie a chance to play (which he has said he would retire if he played elsewhere). So dumb how they're so desperate to get Damian to play in a big market, instead of, oh I don't know, Kyrie just getting vaccinated.

Nurk is playing like he knows he’s being traded.

Totally checked out and is on auto-pilot

And somehow RoCo is back to the RoCo of last year playing off the bench.

This is like selling off parts of a company. You can get something good back by dealing them all pretty much separately.

I look at it this way. These guys all together COULD be a decent team. On paper, it's a little length from being pretty good. But it's stale. It's pretty apparent there are diminishing returns and a lot of these guys have declined even before Chauncey arrived.

However, IMO, by dealing them, you can acquire the pieces to put around Dame to be a contender. And I mean pretty much everyone other than Dame. I want to keep Nas, too. Beyond that, everyone else is largely replaceable.

Nurk sucks. Too many people here give his inconsistent play a pass because when all the stars align he’s dominant. Trade his whiny ass.

oh its just my opinion. I just dont think they would get rid of an All Star big for two good players. Sabonis is one of the better bigs in the league imo. He does it all.

If that's Jerami Grant, he's definitely starting over our guy Nas. I would like that team though.

Nurkic fever now seems like such a long time ago. I thought he was going to be a sabonis caliber player for us. But he often has the vibe of a kid being forced to play.

Nurk with 0 Blocks, 0 Steals and 8 Turnovers in 34 minutes. I was told he was a Defensive juggernaut when on the floor.
