Curious how people feel. I think it's getting ridiculous, and what with the Blazers sucking I'm fine with basketball going away.

I'd be sad for a few reasons:

    • A trade needs to happen and I wanted to see the impact of that trade on the court
    • Billups needs experience in the worst way
    • Any Blazer basketball is better than no basketball. I'd rather watch Telfair & Khryapa start again opposed to nothing!

    It's headed that way

NHL already suspended their season for the time being.

Some people don’t have the same shining outlook on things that you do.

I want you to add an option on your poll.

-what if you could lose your house, cars and the ability to buy groceries and pay bills for your family…… if the season got suspended.
That might change a few opinions.

It's not as if they're putting out a quality product as of late, with half the league in protocol (seems like) and games being postponed almost nightly. Shut this ugly bitch down!

I'd fully support 100% government compensation for all employees impacted.

They have got to find a way in their billion dollar industry to have hardship monies for things employees have no control over.

Like a pandemic. Even if you're not directly affiliated with the team, if you do something that directly impacts the product of the team, there should be a fund set up to help. It's ludicrous big time businesses are always "caught off guard" like this (or whatever excuse they may have. They have billions of fucking dollars.)

    End. Rant.

This is why we have government and government should make sure those businesses (or at least the wealthy business owners) pay enough to cover that insurance.

Watching basketball has kept me going through these covid times. And just because the team is a mess right now, the team needs to go through a cleansing, make some trades and play long enough under Chauncey to begin to gel. So NO, I don’t want to see the season end. We can all watch from the safety of our homes - so lock out the fans and let the teams play home and road games with a set of rules.

I want the season to last until after the trade deadline. Then I don't really care.

Correct... but I said I wanted to be able to see the impact of the trade (this season) and if there were no games, that part would be impossible.
