You mentioned you don't care about making it to industry. If your partner does, you should care about helping him getting there.
If you think him/her throwing in well wishes in between the jabs makes him/her well intentioned, then you've already made up your mind too. I don't even know who that is. I actually really like my interactions with you but don't recall any interactions with them prior to this. Somehow explaining my side makes me the problem once again.
Not at all. You do you man. Hope your channel takes you both wherever you want to go. I am not a him/her either. I am a cat.
Seriously, now a mind reader. My goodness. Multiple times, I've wished success, well wishes, etc. But that is ignored for the one thing that someone might take negatively. I even tried to privately help your show out with some insider info, some time back, but never heard back from either of you. Hope it all works out. I have enough acquaintances and clients in the industry, to know how hard it is to make it and to see the changes they have gone through. Yet somehow, only anything that isn't glowing affirmations seems to be noticed or commented on. You're better than that.
We can take this private if you want. The last interaction I had on here with you was me reaching out back in March to see how you were doing. Nothing basketball related, but as someone who cares. I don't know what you're referring to about me ignoring insider information. In the past when you've given me stuff it's a "don't say anything" type of information, right? Again, this has been my point all along. I don't care about the negative comment, I care about false perceptions. Fuck my show, but if you think I ignored you or your help, that would never be the case Larry. I would never do that intentionally.
He isnt, but here's the deal. I was very argumentative on here for a while. Now I avoid this place because I dont want to argue. The biggest arguments I've gotten in over the past few months are: - Someone calling my followers brainwashed and a part of a "cult" right after they reached out to me for Youtube advice which I gave simply because they disagreed with one of my followers. - Someone calling me out for being a terrible person because I sold him a car with no money down because he was homeless and needed it for work. I never got a dime and he got a free car for 3 weeks, but still tried to call me out for it like I somehow scammed him. - Someone essentially taunting my viewerbase then screaming publically that I personally sent them after him when he finally got them to respond. I actually told them multiple times in a group chat not to go after him, but in the end I'm apparently "brigading" all my followers to go after people I disagree with. Basically, I'm not starting these interactions and I've been trying to avoid arguments for months. I could've responded better here but your references to us arguing on Twitter because people disagree is actually stuff where other people are being extremely out of line. It's frustrating because I've worked on not being overly-argumentative with people that respectfully disagree on something, but a slip up in one segment here and me standing up against some total bullshit there and its made out like I'm the one who's still out to argue with everyone when I'm honestly not.
Thanks for the context and the response. Wish you well and sorry for the drama. Your response is really good and I appreciate it. Hope you figure it out and we can see you on tv or the radio someday.
For the record, YouTube potentially has avenues that are bigger than most tv or radio opportunities have. So making it to one of those isn't necessarily a step up or better than what we're doing now, if you're good enough (which we aren't).
Anyone in the world with internet access can watch our videos and streams live or at any time they want. For example, the Blazers Outsiders post game show on NBCSNW last year could only be viewed by people who have access to that channel. Even most illegal streams of the game will cut out before the post game show is on. Radio apps have gotten much better over the last few years to listen from anywhere, but data shows most younger adults aren't really listening or finding those shows.
Keep on keeping on. I know a lot about the youtube structure. I know people that have 50k subs and average a healthy amount of views per daily video. If you dudes want to stay on Youtube that's cool too. Maybe you can get some people that are on tv or radio to be interviewed on your channel.
