From 2018: https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndic...l-blazers-were-gonna-make-the-finals.amp.html In an interview with ESPN.com's Zach Lowe, Lillard discussed his big expectations for the team: "Good things come to good people, even if you get swept somewhere along the way. This is what goes through my mind: I'm gonna be in my 11th year or something here, I'm gonna stick with it, and we're gonna make the Finals."
I know I may be setting myself up for extreme disappointment but let's see what the roster looks like after the trade deadline. If big moves have been made that change the makeup of this team we could be an opportune off season move or two away from Damestradamus.
I mean it's not even 2022. So next season could be really good if we get really lucky (I.E. an off-season like Milwaukee).
Because he said we’d make the Finals in 5 years from 2018? Isn’t that what you want your superstar to believe?
