    I'm not sure where you live and what sort of authoritarian laws are there but where I live nobody is forced to do anything for their own health at all....you can eat, smoke and drink yourself to death if you want to.

    Because you can make other people sick even if you survive it. It's called public safety protocol, not personal health protocol. You can't give your obesity or alcoholism , diabetes or cancer to someone else

    Yes, for kids in school proper nutrition and physical education should be a requirement.

    For people on public assistance like food stamps, there should be added financial incentive for people to purchase healthier foods.

    Also in some countries with communist/socialized healthcare doctors are actually given financial bonuses if the overall health of their patients improves, things like BMI, non-smoking, etc.

    Im in favor promoting health, but not through mandates. Plus there are all kinds of risk of avarice in letting a government control you to that level. I've not even seen any messaging from our public health encouraging excercise ir vitamin d.

    There are cars with 10 airbags in them. 10! When does this nonsense stop? We were told 1 airbag would save lives. Then 2... 3... 4... etc... if airbags are so fucking good why do we need more of them?!?

    Maybe it’s because hospitals and healthcare workers are overloaded with unvaccinated idiots dying and all that. Vaccinated don’t die and spend time in the hospital so then typical, and important life saving healthcare can be given. It’s impacting schools. It’s impacting jobs. Figure it out.
