Grant is becoming so overrated by that fanbase.

His defense took a nose-dive after the 2018 season and is now a volume scorer with inconsistent/mediocre defense. His volume scoring is on sub-par efficiency to top it off :pokecrap:

He’s a Morris twin wanting to be the first option. That’s not an exaggeration — wants to go to a situation where he’s the “primary creator.”

this article says he wants to be “a primary offensive option” but if he wants to be THE primary offensive option OR creator he has something else coming.

Supposedly, Grant and Dame were pretty tight during the Olympics. Maybe a chance to play with Dame would cure Grant's illness of thinking he should be #1 option. I think Grant's defense would be rejuvenated playing for a winning team.
And everybody who keeps throwing Nance in trades as a filler, please stop. He is the ideal man off the bench in almost any system. If he goes, there better be someone similar in return. I like the growth Watford is showing, but he's no center. The second unit is getting killed on the boards and interior defense. Nance would be one of the guys I would silently put on my no trade list. Same with Mac.

Think Joe & Chuancey are on same page with respect to trades?

Nance isn’t a center either, only a small ball one. We saw the struggles he had when Nurk was out and he had to start at the five. He’s quite literally the same size as Trendon, who actually has a superior rebound rate, averaging 10 boards/36.

I don’t wanna trade Nance but if I could only keep one of Roco and him, I would go with Roco. Teams don’t honor Nances outside shot like they do rocos. I think by this time next year Watford should be good enough to be in the rotation full time and his skill set overlaps more with Nance. I just don’t see who exactly is gonna replace RoCo in house. Nas is better guarding twos than fours imo.

I Really hope Morey ends up a bagholder and too clever by half, because this guy is a gigantic asshole and wasting Embiid's no doubt, very short prime.

New Orleans is a prime spot for Powell. They’ve been connected to him numerous times. He fills a need. The money doesn’t have to match, and they won’t dip into the tax even if they took his entire contract on.

Herb Jones has played well for them but when Zion is healthy he’s still a backup, and you have to believe that team is still centered around him. So that’s who I’d be targeting. Their value on paper is essentially equal, youd just be sacrificing offense for defense, not too different than the Powell/Smart idea. If we did that trade straight up we could dip the tax. It would also open up a Roco trade for more assets.

I think Sabonis is much much better than Fox. He’s also got a much better contract. I bet theres a gap in Fox’s value among media/fans and actual teams. He’s not a bad player or anything but you’d think he was a prime asset listening and reading things about him online.

That would be a smart move for the Kings, IMO.

Seems like teams want Halliburton, not Fox, who can’t shoot.
