Anyway, glad the tank is back on track.

    Good move.

You also thought that “no one would give up millions of dollars willingly” in reference to LeBron James wanting to play with his son.

Then I pointed out Ben Simmons, who has much less money, was doing the same thing by not playing for Philly.

So forgive me if I don’t give a fuck what you think.

Because defense doesn't really, really matter?

Yeah, that’s not really what I said. I said he would care about losing 40 million, so he wouldn’t just retire.

But anyways you also think that Nurk doesn’t deserve more money per season than

    Brook Lopez
    Clint Capela
    Myles Turner
    Steven Adams
    Kelly Olynyck

I’m ok with you not caring about my opinion. Yours isn’t worth much either.

This is ridiculous. Is there some saviour in the draft I’m unaware of? I cannot believe management is going to ask all these young players to keep playing hard as if the organization wants them to win games.

Savior in the draft? No. But the pick is an asset that can be utilized to improve the team. If we can procure said asset while developing our youngsters, we should do so.

And you think we can guarantee getting him by losing games? That’s not the way the lottery works.

Philly hasn't even been to the conference finals. So I would say all those year of losing, it didn't work.

Players don't tank. Any player that agrees to throw a game is cancer. All of the players on the roster and can play are playing to win, not to get a draft pick. A bunch of the players currently available to play on the Blazers are either trying to earn a future spot on the roster or a payday.

We have 2nd to easiest schedule remaining. Someone else will have to be injured.

Just cause I left out Dev of players did not mean anything cause it should be a given we see what we have in Johnson and others before the end of the season so we know who to keep and who maybe to use as trade chips. Also we need to let Dame's Cousin get some play before we have to break it to him his free ride is over . Now I know some will say he helped a little in one of the games but let's be honest he is a C minus at best NBA player who only has a job on an NBA roster cause of who he knows.

Blevins should see zero minutes the rest of the season and start looking into another career lol. Maybe they can put him in the video room or something.

Taking a healthy and productive player out of your lineup for the rest of the year tells the team that the goal is now to lose games, not win them. That’s a terrible message to send your young players.

Could be a tanking move - but no foot injury is a joke with a player as big as Nurk. If they are truly determined to keep him and treat him as a building block, erring on the side of caution is a reasonable move.

giving them more minutes and opportunity is a terrible message? No one is telling them to lose games.
