You'd have to look at Davis if he was made available. If we could add him to Dame, Hart, Winslow & Nurk plus that would be potent if he stayed healthy. You'd want a young 4 waiting in the wings though.
Obviously they'd need to make the deal work and we'd need to part with Ant, Little and a bunch more. This would give Dame one hell of a chance at a ring here.

Frankly not all that much at this stage of his career - 38, correct?

Davis is a couple years younger than Dame.

Would you trade Dame for AD? Because that's about the only deal I could see the Lakers being interested in.

The only way Lebron comes here is if he wants out and wants to play with Dame. In that case it's just a matter of how little you can get the Lakers to accept. Honestly, I think it'd be worth our top 5 pick for a chance at a ring (and any value we got out of a Lebron sign and trade at the end of his deal using his bird rights).

Could we make a trade work with Bledsoe, cap space, and the #5 (let's say hypothetically)? If so, I don't think we'd need to add much. Preference would be to draft Agbaji with the NO pick and sign MO Bamba with our MLE (shooter defensive big with potential).

    Lillard/(Dunn or Avery Bradley)
    Simons/Hart/Johnson/Agbaji
    Little/Ingles/Didi
    Lebron/Winslow/Watford
    Nurkic/Bamba/Eubanks

It's not the most loaded team Lebron has ever played on, but it is a title contender with a lot of shooters and defenders.

Would be tricky and timing isnt easy but we can put a package together not involving Dame or Ant i think.

With a lot of big money deals, the easiest way to get it to happen, which is obviously super unlikely, but fun for us to chat about, is to draft 2 players that the Lakers want, and then sign them, wait the 30 days, and then make the trade with those 2, Bledsoe, and then smaller $. If they want a small rebuild by adding 2 lottery picks for him. Our 2 picks should make roughly 9 million next season, and Bledsoe is at what, almost 19? So we need like a Keon Johnson, Little, Winslow deal thrown in to make $$ work, maybe less.
I doubt they add 2 rookies if they're not blowing it up, but just throwing out a relatively easy way we can make it happen.

You couldn't pay me enough to root for a team with Lebron James on it.

If we got the #1 pick and they wanted it, yes.
I’d then put AD on a 60ish games restriction and no b2bs.

Fans can pout when we have Lebron.

I'll sit back and enjoy the feeling of being a contender.
