This made my night. I feel like Dwight has cooled off a bit, but when I was a kid, he was always ragging on the Sheed and it just drove me crazy. I couldn't even read the garbage he wrote. He was Canzano before Canzano.

We have a no personal insult rule. I figured you might be kidding so I edited it instead of deleting it.

When I was young I had a side hustle being security at the RG. I never saw someone who looked so miserable as Jaynes did.

That was back when he had a dead squirrel sprawled on his head.

We actually don't know yet what we got in return. I will wait to be disappointed after several games into next season.

I like Dwight Jaynes and I like Neil Olshey. I also think most people are asshats and have singlehandedly voted this country into hell. What do I know? Oh yeah, Slava Ukraini, Russia is evil. Do I get my idiot points?

Dwight Jaynes, Bob Stoops, and Andrew Nemec. My holy trinity of being blocked.

It's truly amazing how he has been so critical of Dame, Cronin, Stotts, but I couldn't find one critical tweet of Olshey, not one.

Obviously Olshey was one of his sources and he's trying to keep him happy, but even Woj was willing to report on Olshey being under investigation. Dwight just went silent!

If Wes Matthews and PJ Tucker are starters on a contender then so is Josh Hart.

Dwight also goes on about how valuable RoCo is and how the Clippers love him. He's not starting tonight even though PG, Kawhi, and Kennard are out. So he's the 9th seeds 6th best forward?

I'm not arguing Dwight being anything more than a fool but we all know that RoCo plays behind Morris and doesn't bring enough offense to replace any of the guys you just mentioned. I do think Norm would be starting at SG tonight if the Pels weren't so big.

You're kinda making my point for me. RoCo isn't as good as Morris and Powell is too small to be playing against starters with length. This is the reason why we had to dump their salary and start over. And why there weren't these amazing offers for them around the trade deadline.

Yeah well, this comment didn't age well. Your guys' weapon is one of those little plastic swords they use for hors d'oeuvres.

Tough to take Dwight seriously after he wore that dead squirrel on his head for so long.

Which brings us full circle. Why did we give up 2 1st rd picks for RoCo? Why did we give up Trent for Powell and then give him an extension?

It isn't as if Olshey was operating solo. But the enablers/yes men that surrounded him are now the ones making the decisions! How does that make sense?

Just as an aside, we also supposedly didn't get amazing offers for CJ and Nance. Even if the Clips are suffering some sort of buyers remorse, I doubt the Pels are. If we are going to exonerate Cronin for the Clips deal, we also have to point out that the Pels deal was a total, laughable fustercluck.

If the Pels plan on CJ being their 1a/1b, I have a feeling their fans will be sounding like ours in a year or two. Heck, had they lost tonight, they probably would've been bitching about CJ tonight because he was far from good.

I think our problems start with ownership, then with the Vulcans, then not having a front office who can stand up to those two, and then not having a coach with any experience when you have a win-now #1 player. Not exactly how a championship organization lookslike.

Ingram is a much better player than CJ, and he stresses a defense more. But CJ has been averaging 1.3 more FGA's than Ingram. He had 3 more last night while he was having a very off night shooting. He's finally in a situation where he seems to think he's the man. If (big if) Zion comes back and CJ averages more shots than both Ingram and Zion there will likely be some friction. And Pels fans will notice, especially if CJ regresses back to his norms but still keeps shooting

I said this in another thread: I think Cronin deserves some criticism for his deadline deals, but it's hard to know how much is deserved without knowing what the boundaries of the orders were from Seattle he was operating under. I have no doubt at all that he was told to reduce current and future payroll by as much as he could, and he did that. Seattle didn't tell him to get poor drft compensation though
