I probably would have preferred Jarred Sullinger over Meyers Leonard.

In May 2021 he led his team in the Korean league to their title with a 42 pt/15 rb performance. True story.

Karl-Anthony Towns if we could get him.

Jalen Brunson is having a hell of a game tonight. He was the 33rd pick in 2018.

Yeah he is already moving into the top 4 in some of the mocks.

Both Herb Jones and Jose Alvarado were conference defensive players of the year in their last season in college. To copy the Pelicans playbook, maybe take Christian Koloko with the 36th pick. Koloko was the PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Year this season.

I would be surprised if Koloko lasted until 36th.

I too would be surprised if he lasted to 36th but the ESPN Mock Draft actually has us taking him at 36th. The Bleacher Report/SI mock had him falling to 37th.

Seems like he’d be a decent project

Koloko is a native of Douala, Cameroon and attended Collège Libermann in his hometown.[1] He grew up playing football

Another 2nd round guy I’d love to get…..if he stays in the draft, is Leonard Miller

The hiring seemed obvious, but 4 years surprised me.

But you can’t look at things like that. I can give you dozens of shit players drafted before and after him. The draft is an absolute crap shoot.

More of a crap shoot than dealing picks for RoCo or Nance?

If Ivey is there at our pick past 3 you take him. BPA always!

Unless Shaedon shows he's better in workouts... and I would again find out if there is a team that values him enough to make a trade worth our while. If you have Ivey as a surefire all star, yeah but if he's just better but on the same tier as Murray then fuck no. It's not always BPA if it's close and you can fill a position of need. It's just BPA when the gap between that player and the next best is a big one.

I just don’t think I have enough faith in the Blazers when it comes to drafting best player available over position need in the draft.
