What a battle....Domingue loves to put his glove in front of his face for some reason...thats cost them on a couple goals. VERY excited for Sunday!

Wouldn't it be nuts if the Rangers and Bruins both win?

At this point we are favorites to win it. I imagine no Crosby though i believe one of their goalies could come back for Gm 7.

Tough for the Pens to either stay with Domingue or go with their starter who hasn't played in weeks.

Nice comeback. Amazing what happens when you stop trying to be fancy and SHOOT.

Both Crosby and Jarry might play in game 7. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that is the case.

Wouldn't Crosby have to pass protocol?

Yes, but I heard he did skate this morning, so maybe he is already working through process. Truth is who knows this time of year. And Jarry I think practiced a bit also.

Crosby skated with a skill coach before the full team practiced Friday.

After being down 3-1 can't worry about who's playing in game 7. MSG will be nuts and they need a big start.

100% agreed. Also as you wrote, Jarry hasn't played in over a month, either way we should have a huge edge in goal, and a crazy home crowd. No excuses there.

All I ask is very simple - SHOOT THE PUCK. Every time we get into the shoot mode we carry the play. SHOOT. And Panarin is the next guy who needs to get that f'ing message.

Yup, great to see Kreider and Zibanejad lead the way. They need Panarin to get in on it.

Looks like Kreider gets the game winner so 2 each for Kreider and Zibanejad and the empty netter for Copp.

First road playoff W for Igor....thats a confidence builder....now back in a friendly setting....have to play a complete game. Smart decisions. TRY to maintain some semblance of puck possession in the offensive zone and make smart clears from the defensive zone.

I don't know how they measure this but if true its pretty remarkable:

With Crosby on the ice this series, the Penguins have held a 58-18 advantage in scoring chances at 5-on-5.
    courtesy of ESPN....wow.

Good win I’m glad CK and Z showed up. I still think this team makes every game too hard on . Themselves . Hopefully they can win game 7 4-0/5-1

Motte slotting into the top line with Kreider and Zibanejad paid off in the end. No doubt about that!

That and they finally got a couple of breaks to go their way. Crosby out. The bounce on the 4th goal. Now maybe they can play a complete game and not fall behind every fucking game.

Essentially no Crosby half of game 5, all of game 6 and a third string goalie since the end of game 1. Rangers still find themselves having to win a game 7. Not to mention their best defensive defenseman out since game one in Dumoulin. Not very impressive to say the least. Getting to the second round would be a miracle and more valuable experience for the young players. Not to mention another opportunity for some of our high paid vets to figure out how to play in the playoffs. The Rangers have stepped in a dinosaur size pile of shit after they got some injuries. However, nobody was complaining when the Islanders were floundering out of the playoffs before the Covid stoppage saved their season.

This series has shown me that the Rangers are farther away than I thought they were to playing good playoff hockey.
