I don't disagree with that at all

but that may point to a need for interchangeable parts; shooters who can play a couple of positions. And with Nurkic as starting C the backup C should be some version of a stretch-4. Where is Rasheed when you need him?

Blazers should send the rights to Duren plus the Bucks pick and cash for the rights to Jabari Smith Jr.

...and call off the hitman who has a red dot on the GM who agrees to that trade.

The two big busts due to injuries/body players in this draft are Holmgren and Aj bad knees Griffin. No just no. Draft and trade Holmgren if he slips but for god sake don’t put him in a Blazers uniform you're not tempting fate you're openly mocking it.

I'd at least give him a season to show what he has if he were somehow (it would never happen so you have nothing to worry about) to drop all the way down to 7. Last I checked PF is our biggest position of need.

Saves money from paying Nurk to spend on other positions.

Think Id rather have Williams he could contribute right away. Very consistent smart talented big.

Disagree. You need multiple shooters/scorers but not all positions... it's fine to have someone playing the dunker position doing putbacks and flushes. For balance it's important to have more then just PG sized guys who can handle and create, and multiple quality wing and frontcourt defenders. Today's game is largely about making and defending the 3 ball.

The two are not mutually exclusive. I want shooters with good size/length for their position, most of whom are willing perimeter defenders.

If Luka and Trae can be swapped, these two can too depending on how much Duren impresses.

I don't see us able to parlay #7 pick in Duren plus Buck's first for Jabari Smith Jr. Sure that sounds amazing but I just don't see it. I think Duren would be a great get. I'd also be fine with Sochan, Mathurin, Keegan Murray or Eason. I don't want to trade our pick unless it's a trade-up, or a trade-down with Charlotte for #13 and #15 I think there is a lot of value at that level. I absolutely will go apeshit if it's traded for Jerami Grant.

Could we get a future 1st and another TPE in a S&T for Nurk?

AJ Griffin is the most overrated player in this draft. I just don't see where all the hype is coming from. On top of that, he already has old man knees.
