lafreniere doesn’t play center so Strome’s departure doesn’t really impact him. He’s not going to play ahead of Panarin or Kreider, so short of moving to the off wing he’s destined for the 3rd line again.

I don't think anyone is saying it is controversial to think a # 1 pick should get more ice time. The "controversial" part is stating that because he didn't get PP1 time and play 17 mpg he is being mishandled and his growth is being stunted. Again only one way to grow, educate, improve a kid. That's the part where it goes off IMO.

Panarin needs to be moved to the right wing and told to figure it out after his shit playoffs.

Our PP has been stymied. Would be nice if gallant adjusts and gets the useless and soon to be gone off it and put Laf who is playing well on it already.

If they somehow can win game three I still think it can get interesting. The playoffs teach you a lot about your team. Blais and Motte need to stay. Vatrano has been disappointing in the playoffs. I don’t see him being signed. Really think Othman is going to make the team next year because having him go back to juniors would be a complete waste of time he’ll be 20 after the season starts. Kakko and Lafreniere need to be extended immediately after the season. Chytil is earning one as well. So then it comes down to Strome or Copp. I still think they should trade for Dvorak they need a face off guy. However, Korczak may be the answer.

More development lectures from the guys who didn't even think the Rangers would sniff the playoffs and instead of acknowledging their wildly inaccurate forecast they double down and want the team blown up and label one of the best new GMs in the NHL incompetent for a low cost dman signing to fill a gap . And also GG in his first year may have taken the Rangers to one of their best seasons in history is actually a "players coach"! and that's no good. Wasn't Gauthier a #6 1st rounder who Carolina chose not to develop and trade instead? Aside from that stiff who was given way too much ice time I think most of the Rangers young players showed marked improvement. The #1 line has to bring it today or ice time for the youth will be irrelevant

Gauthier was traded for Keane when they needed a puck moving righty d man. Lucky for them Georgiev is a dickhead who had the team release DeAngelo. LOL

#1 line brought it and the Rangers win. Physical play rattled the cheap shotting stick throwing candy canes. Schneider emerging as a cornerstone defender. Fox needs to put on some weight or get his center of gravity lower, he's getting tossed around like a stadium beach ball every game.
