I don’t care how it’s done, Panarin has to be dealt. He’s totally useless. His offensive skill set is literally to just skate into the offensive zone, stop and then make a bad pass to turn it over. Yet our “genius” coach would rather he gets tons of ice time despite his clear shitty style of hockey and constant turnovers.

So far these new lines have ZERO chemistry. Just a bunch of shitty play from a shitty lineup. Rangers want to keep overpassing and turning it over. Lightning are so confident and cocky that they are literally playing defense with 4 players while they have their 5th player hanging out towards the blue line waiting for the Rangers to turn it over and then flying down the ice. That’s how terrible this game plan by Gallant is. Tampa is beating us with 4 players in the dzone.

They are also keeping 4 guys in to forecheck when the Rangers get the puck. The Rangers have not been able to consistently gain and clear the puck on defense.

They have no respect for this team, nor should they based upon what the Rangers have shown. Rangers are helter skelter when Tampa gets their forecheck going. Ranger players are looking to use the boards immediately to get it out but not looking at where players are. Over and over and over. Nothing changes. Terrible playing. Terrible coaching by lack of adjusting to this. It’s like the Carolina series. Carolina took away the boards and we couldn’t adjust. Tampa has taken away the boards, and once again Gallant can’t figure it out.

Lafreniere played over 6 minutes in that first period. Funny how after fucking him over all season suddenly in a must-win Gm 6 Gallant turns to Lafreniere to help him save his ass.

Messier had some pretty good insight about trying to break your opponents will to win and how that manifests with the players' body language. That being said...Fox looks completely...and I mean COMPLETELY defeated.

The whole coaching staff should be fired for this game. They’re treating this game like a pre season where they’re trying to figure out who should be on the opening day roster.

Fox has looked defeated most of the playoffs. He’s obviously just waiting to have off-season surgery on whatever his injury is.

Outside of puck possession, the difference is Tampa making alot more happen around the net and the Rangers not.

I think TB is in their winning window and a talented and mature team. We are maybe just starting to enter our winning window, and have a lot of learning to do, and need a few more pieces. At this point not sure it is about the coach, or even individual players, I think TB is simply a better team at this point and in their window.

Frustrating, but it appears that is the case, and once the dust settles we'll look back in a positive way at making it all the way to game 6 of the ECF against the 2-time defending champs.

Got lucky there the TB player decided to go to his backhand and completely close his angle.

Shesterkin could win the Conn Smythe even if the Rangers don't make the finals.
