You can't win if you cant score. The Rangers pretty clearly cannot score.

and ignore all his saves. And let’s look at the last 3 rangers goals…..over the last 3 games. Stop it. You just look stupid trying to blame Igor for this shit. He let up a bad goal tonight. Last game he was screene and getting peppered with shots and bodies all game long. He’s our best player. He’s the only reason we even made the playoffs. Just stop. Look at Panarin. Look at Kreider. Look at ANY OTHER PLAYER THAT CAN/SHOULD SCORE GOALS. YOU CANNOT WIN A GAME 0-0. Sorry to break it to you.

This team reminds me of the Torts teams, except with a much worse defensive game plan. Relying on a goalie to win games and hope to luck into a goal and win 1-0.

Nobody is blaming him but you can't play pretend and say since he made great saves a shit goal is ok in an elimination game.

On top of maybe being the more tired team, that game 3 loss took the wind out of their sails mentally. Losing game 5 in the last minute too didn't help. Still no excuse for some of these guys not making a few more plays.

So he lets in a soft goal, WHICH WE ALL HAVE SAID HE SHOULD HAVE SAVED, but you literally are blaming him for the loss. Once again….you can’t win a game 0-0. At some point you gotta score a goal. You have to have puck control in the offensive zone. Gallant is clearly getting out classes here with his panic roster move which has looked as useful as tits on a bull.

Tired team who also changed the way they played after taking that 2-0 lead I'm game three. Became timid.

Rangers have one even strength goal in the past 3 games and 2 periods...wow.

I want to see two things happen this summer - 1. We need to add a legit # 2 C. It has not been addressed in years, and enough is enough. It is a major need, and has to be addressed. Get it done Drury. 2. I would do everything I could to trade Panarin. He was a good bridge from bad team to good team, but he not a playoff player. Long shot because of the NMC, but I really try hard and convince him to accept a trade.

I don’t think it matters that Igor gave up that goal. It’s only a matter of time they get one . Rangers aren’t scoring tonight.

The game isn't over and where did I blame him for the loss. Stop the over emotional bullshit. The entire team sucks right now.

BTW, Hedman still was not back on the bench when the period ended. Lucky there on a penalty on Lafreniere for that hit.

This right here shows you are blaming him.

The old saying on goalies is it isn't about the saves only, it's about the types of goals you let in. We all know no shot we'd be here without Igor, we all know we cannot score anyway so it doesn't really matter, but he needs to stop that shot, and if not both, at least 1 of the goals in game 5.

That all can be true, and is IMO. At days end it is sort of irrelevant anyway though since we score 0 or 1 goal every game. Like Hank all over again.

    Need a legit # 2 C - I think that is a big part of the answer.

If the Rangers can somehow draw a penalty they have a chance. If they play 5 on 5 or shorthanded I just don't see a way they get any decent scoring chances let alone an actual goal.

The way you get rid of 0anarin is simple. Strome is his buddy. Let Strome walk, obviously, then wherever he signs tell 0anarin you’ll trade him there since 0anarin loves his buddy so much. I think I’m gonna refer to Panarin as 0anarin from now on as he can’t put up a point to save his life in the playoffs lol.

I wish it were that easy 94, because Strome is gone, but I don't think it will be. I just don't see Panarin going anywhere unfortunately.

Gallant gets blamed for not changing up his lines...he gets blamed for now changing his lines...

Guy won the 2nd most games in a season for the rangers in their history...nevermind he did it with a team that most thought would be fighting for the 8th seed....

One thing this team needs is someone who can skate the puck out of the zone.

Doesn't seem we can ever have a guy control the puck from our blue line to theirs without a high flip..or a back hand walk to barely get it out of the zone..

I’d like to think so, but they all look exhausted and defeated out there. They honestly have looked out of it since game 3. Lethargic and exhausted. Too many games without a rest has killed them. We can all be happy with where we are and disappointed at the same time. Rangers have issues to fix, namely a face off winning center, a player that can finish scoring opportunities, and moving 0anarin anyway possible. I don’t care how much contract we have to eat. He has to be moved before all the young players start adopting his game style which has started a little bit already.
