https://bleacherreport.com/articles...between-kyrie-irving-and-brooklyn?share=other There is a path for Irving to decline his option and sign with New York as an unrestricted free agent. Part of the rumblings about Irving and the Knicks' mutual interest is that head coach Tom Thibodeau is a fan of Irving. But New York would have to shed significant salary, sacrifice valuable draft capital in the process and still likely need to stretch a contract or two to free up the space to meet Irving's near $40 million wages. Sure, NY. I'll absorb the Burks and Noel contracts if you attach #11 to it. We can send back a second or maybe the MIL pick. I hope we are exploring these kinda deals too to leverage our capspace for something. Obviously, the timing for have to include tampering-- but this isn't exactly a new concept in the league.
This is only partially correct. Irving is technically under contract for the '22-'23 season. He just has a player option to become a FA. All Irving has to do is sign paperwork stating he's opting into his contract & he can be traded at the draft.
If it blows up and the nets have to rebuild, a combo of sharpe, ant, and a pick could be pretty enticing to grab Durant.
How ironic would it be if he ended up in Portland not that we’ll get him but I do think by mid season he’ll be traded.
Hello, Am i the only one that finds this extremely entertaining and pleasing? Almost as good as Westbrick not getting a ring in LA ? mmmmuuuuuaaaaahhhhahahahahahahAhaha!!!!
He's not interested in that. He wants ready made championships. All the other bullshit is beneath him.
Well maybe? I don’t know the guy? That seems a bit harsh for a competitor like KD. I always thought he always felt he was the best on the floor and he would beat you however he could? That kind of guy knows it’s work to win. He always seemed like he worked very hard to excel.
