Cole's 57th start in Pinstripes. Sure doesn't seem like it has been that much, or that long since Cole became a Yankee. Then again, we rarely get Yankees games out west, especially when Cole is pitching!

Cole blows it by Brantley and Alvarez at 100-mph for 2 strikeouts.

Damnit Cole, you can't keep walking the leadoff batter...it will bite you in the ass sooner or later.

    Yanx have K'd 13 times in 7 innings...impressive.

Judge 2 on 2 out, grounds out. Anti-climatic... But then this is baseball. Ass-tros still up 1 to Zip.

Ump clearly missed 2 pitches to DJ...called them both balls...but both were strikes.

...I'll take the gift walk, but regardless, FIX THE FUCKING STRIKE ZONE !

Likely going to be no hit. The other night was lucky. The Astros own this team.

This is why the Yanx typically swoon in the PS....they make it to the playoffs but when they face better pitching in the PS they still continue to swing for the fences regardless of whether their are men in scoring position or not.

    "HR or bust."

Astros without a doubt would beat this team in the playoffs.

Yup, as things stand now, offensively they're pretty close...and the Astros pitching is solid.

Difference to me is in the hitting approach and coaching...Boone has not shown to me that he's worthy of having the keys to this team.

Yanx go down hitless without even a whimper...15 K's...embarrassing performance.

Simply put, this lineup today that was trotted out there by BaBoone was never going to win. Hicks, Gallo and Gonzales are three black holes. Add to that, a lot of our batters are slumping (go look it up, even Judge is hitting just barely above .200 in the last week or 2) and it screams that we have holes to fill. Must improve the OF. Simply cannot have Gallo AND Hicks on this team. Cashman got fleeced in the Gallo deal, simple as that. I said it all last year, Gallo is a scrub. Now we have him causing Andujar to force a trade outta here, we have Donaldson who is a headcase (and if I hear any announcer once more say how great our defense is now because of him I’m gonna lose it…Gio was just as good defensively as Donaldson AND is a better hitter AND better teammate), we have Hicks who goes nuts over a HR and then promptly goes back to sucking moose dick, Stanton who is 3 for his last like 52 or some shit. Everyone is slumping, but it shines a bright light on what needs to be done. Pitching is ok for us, but we need, as we have for the last 10 years, contact hitters not just power hitters.

There is only one player on this team who hits consistently to all fields……and that’s LaMahieu.

The rest of the Yankee lineup is swinging for the fences. Today, Yankee team deserved to be no hit.
They were flailing all game to the tune of 15Ks. Until management gets contact hitters, this team
will have difficulty in the Post Season.

We’ve all said the same thing. Cashman needs to add at least 2 hitters for average that get their bats on the ball and don’t k every other time up. Hicks, Gallo, Donaldson need to go.

Boston is 18-4 in their last 22. The good thing is Toronto, TB and Boston start playing alot against each other.
