Politics Please say rock bottom is getting close

The right has gone so full-tilt christofascist, the only logical conclusion:

They believe they are here to bring about the end times prophecy shite. They are trying to be as terrible as possible to fulfill the persecution complex bullshit. It's a death cult. And they run things.

 

They are just ignorant, selfish, and greedy. As are our president and pretty much anybody the DNC supports.

 

This one time, I'm just going to let you speak for me. Truth.

 

Sure. How's the green new deal coming? How about increased access to healthcare? Education? Right... we're INCREASING the cost of those things with total Dem control... And drill baby drill...

You know what's bullshit? Constantly giving Dems a pass because they blow smoke up your ass.

 

If you can get people to be blindly partisan over social issues, it’s easier to steal all their money and continue to tax them without any actual representation. Oh they are doing something. They are increasing drilling at an incredibly rapid pace. Also raising the price of healthcare. They are in the way of people who would actually do good.

Of course Dems aren't actively for those things. That would wreck the whole thing. They are supposed to say they are opposed to those things. If they all publicly said they were for those things people who stop giving them money.

the infrastructure bill introduced by Biden was killed off by the coal state democrat and the entire rebuplican vote....dems don't have a 2/3rds majority so passing these laws takes bipartisan cooperation...and no republican wants to see Biden succed. Failure as a political voting tool is ruining the country. I'm not impressed with the Dems at all...but I'm pissed at the Republicans for making lies the tools of debate and standing behind corruption and sedition at the highest level of government. Democrats have plenty of flaws and bs in their ranks but compared to the Republicans that have stonewalled democracy behind the insurrection....yeah...it's a much bigger problem and to those who think the fault is equally spread out...don't fool yourselves.

This has been my view on Biden forever. The only reason I voted for him was Trump is a far bigger scumbag, and an immediate threat to our country.

It's interesting how people need to compartmentalize others... "Team Politics" are a big part of the problem. We're supposed to hold these people to a high standard...

Besides, I'd support Bernie for president and he's caved to DNC pressure on guns as well.

Biden did this to help workers get a break on oil prices....new circumstances have come up since he was elected concerning energy costs and his green infrastructure bill got a no vote ..it's not like he wasn't trying to transition to clean energy...he didn't have the votes to make that happen, then this war changed everything recently....as a president you need to adapt to circumstances. That's what I see him trying to do. Some rate hikes are directly tied to inflation as well....and I'm supposed to get a bump in Social Security benefits but my medicare costs haven't changed nor have I recieved any notice that they will....what's changed is the value of the dollar. This is one of the toughest eras of American politics to weather. The pandemic and trade wars and rise of facism have made people who wanted to avoid foreign wars, have no choice at a big cost to the world...not just America. Joe won't have time to fix the country...as I've always said...he's a band aid president who has to clean up a big mess from the previous idiot and try to put people who are good at their job back in those jobs...Trump fired them all
at this point I'm grateful for small successes given we almost became a monarchy dictatorship

 

The only thing Democrats are worse at than Republicans is messaging. Republicans can find a way of selling things that are in fact killing their constituents, and they make it compelling because it is basically easier - think masks, or fossil fuels. Democrats, even main stream ones like Biden, are generally on the right side of things but their messaging sucks. They need better messaging, and stop explaining things to such a degree that people fall asleep. Republicans understand this, and are okay with being disingenuous snake oil salesmen.
