I guess my only question is that if an aborted baby goes straight to heaven, why would you get in the way of that??? Why would you have them go through this ever worsening trail of tears? That is doing them NO favors. Seems like you're cheating them to me......just sayin'......

You did say a little further into the thread those quotes were pulled from, that you don't think it's the governments responsibility after kids are born.

Orphans who have the hardest time getting adopted are teenagers...I'm sure you're not too old to adopt a 14- 17 year old and help them get through college...etc....teen orphans are rarely adopted

Buddhist, Taoist or Pagan babies will not be allowed....they'll be like Nicaraguan refugees at the border and be put in cages until they can be sent back. Heaven isn't for non believers

Thanks for taking the time to post all of these responses. I'm pretty sure they were made over time. But, nonetheless, I'll try to bring it into the context I had meant. Every living being is important and loved by God. Both, born, and the unborn, as well. I'm a strong advocate for the unborn. They have no choice nor say, but are living, nonetheless. I support ministries that believe the same. Once a child is born, there are natural responsibilities borne by the parents. I guess this is where I'm not following your line of questioning. I would absolutely hope the parents raise that child in a responsible and healthy manner. Should the child be born, or develop, disbilities or health issues, I would hope the parents do everything possible to help that child. If they're not able, then I would hope healthcare would be made available. I'm absolutely for the unborn and the born alike. The unborn have no choices and abortion makes that situation go away. The born are in the care and responsibility of their parents. Obviously, it's legally murder to terminate their life.

Interestingly, if a pregnant mother is murdered, the perpatrator would be charged with a double-homicide. Go figure.

You would be wrong. They were made over a very short period of time.

Parents do have a responsibility, but not all parents are good ones. Not all parents have the drive and mindset necessary to care for a child with permanent disabilities. Not all parents have the resources either. Healthcare is expensive, especially when a child has to spend weeks, months etc. In the hospital for care. Hence, why healthcare should be a human right. It is pretty fucked up to say, whelp, at no fault of your own you had a child with a disability, good luck with that. What kind of society is that? And unfortunately, many religious folks and conservatives are the ones stating healthcare for all is an idiotic statement.

You think the born have a choice on who they were born to? They don't. That's why folks like the government should step in and provide things like healthcare for all and resources for thise folks to get life saving resources.

You think its fair for someone to have a child at no fault of their own and go into bankruptcy because of medical bills? Because that's completely fucked up. Hospitals should not be concerned with profits, they should be concerned with saving lives.

We're more in agreement than you may think. I wish we had comprehensive health care. I mean, shoot, I'm on Medicare. Why would I not? My deal with all of that, though, is that I very much wish it weren't a strict government operation. Is privatization the answer? Maybe. With strong checks and balances, though.

No, but they may have been a little vague. I want you to truly understand. Obviosuly, I didn't do a very good job of conveying that at the time.

I think you made it pretty clear that you valued unborn lives over born lives.

It's not that easy man. You supporting people like Trump and Desantis shows you don't care about healthcare for these folks.

The hate in your heart you displayed in those posts....i have a hard time thinking Jesus would agree.

My guess is, it is. I haven't really looked at it, but aren't there current health/social programs for parents who are unable to pay for medical needs?
