Nah, ABM wants to get in the middle of God's will for this and force birth, but not when it comes to providing for others after birth. Because if they die they go straight to heaven.

    Make that make sense.

Not my job to make ABM's thought process make sense.

All I will say is, religion and politics are such prominent inducers of argument.

That, and can anyone really know the true will of an omnipotent, all powerful being? But, I digress, that's the beginning of another argument.

That woman described who had numerous abortions and would not use birth control had serious problems. Restricting family planning would not have helped.

It comes down to faith.....and the enabling of the Holy Spiri

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. Romans 8:26-27

No you're wrong! Women LOVE to be pregnant for 8 months JUST SO THEY CAN HAVE AN ABORTION! Ask anyone who's been pregnant - this is totally plausible!

It comes down to faith? Bullshit!

In 2016 and 2020 Trump ran against opponents of deep Christian faith. ABM preferred the pussy grabber because he promised to appoint judges that would force women to carry pregnancies against their will, something not mentioned in bible although adultery and the other deadly sins sure are. But the embodiment of seven deadly sins was preferred.

Senator Warnock is a Christian minister. But the candidate ABM loves is a lying woman abusing deadbeat dad because the liar wants to force women to carry pregnancies to term against their will and he hates gays.

What happened to faith without works is dead?

It is interesting a Christian would support an ex football player over a Christian pastor.

Now that you mention it, how does a man of such strong faith vote twice for a self proclaimed pussy grabber?

    mind boggling

And his wife is scared of sharing bathrooms with trans folk but voted for someone openly bragging about sexual assault.

You can't make this stuff up.

Not just a football player, a football player who lied about his background, cheated American veterans, abused women and fathered an unknown number of unacknowledged children.

It was a sad repeated waste of time and resources for something that was easily avoidable.

    Just unfortunate is all.

    *Edit*
And really, the most unfortunate part was that we couldn't help her get well and make better choices.

I was too young, but I know my family and extended family tried as best they knew how.

The only "faith" right-wing "Christians" have is the faith that God is as big an asshole as they are. They're the kind of "Christians" that provoke this:

Still waiting for the "it's murder to kill a cluster of cells" crowd to explain exactly why. The only way you could think that a thing that doesn't even have a brain should have rights is if you think it has a soul. But if you think it has a soul, you believe that soul will go to heaven if you kill it, so you're doing it a huge favor. If I believed that shit I'd think I had a moral DUTY to abort embryos before they have a chance to make choices and consign themselves to hell.

I realize late term abortions are rare, and I understand sometimes they are necessary for health/emergency reasons, as they should be. I’m not disagreeing with any of those points. I’m just saying to deny that a 7 or 8th month old unborn human is not a baby is a crazy.
My daughter was born over a month premature with eyes wide open, breathing on her own and was in the car on the way home the very next day.
That’s a person in there no matter how inconvenient their existence may be. I guess the question is when does the clump of cells become a baby? It’s NOT “when it comes out” sorry. There’s needs to be a scientifically designated point during pregnancy where a fetus is deemed a viable human and abortion after that point should be well justified.
And no, I don’t think many of these hardcore red states are going about this correctly, for the record, just causing division.
