Let’s try this once again. It’s not the distance. If it were, East Coast players wouldn’t be interested in playing for the Lakers, which they always are. And LA is about the same distance from the East Coast as Portland.
Ha, I am sure they would like to start the discussions with Booker. I hope they make that trade. Better than seeing Phoenix end up with both.
Smartest thing to the Nets would do in a long, long time is realize that Ayton is a non-starter in a KD trade. Centers are virtually worthless nowadays.
I understand “Brooklyn won’t tank because it doesn’t have its own picks” but realistically acquiring a bunch of other teams picks might be the best way to get themselves out of this mess unless teams are going to offer young, rising stars. At least getting other teams picks would add assets to their future endeavors.
How do you know every players situation? The Lakers aren't always an option for every player. Not everyone likes that lifestyle. Not everyone wants to move halfway across the country unless they have to.
I’d be trying to get Zion, Lamelo, Anthony Edwards or someone like that or just blow it up. Maybe Evan Mobley or Scottie Barnes.
Hmm...Durant to the Raptors for Trent/OG/Barnes? Would KD and Siakam work together? What does @speeds think?
