Could've signed him for about the minimum last year and saved $25 million. Hope it's not buying high. But I like the D. Positionally makes zero sense unless there's one or two other moves.
Also this is an over pay not a huge overpay cause i could see him getting 5 to 6 per but the Blazers needed to out bid the warriors but still an over pay.
There needs to be a couple more moves from Cronin & Co. We can't try this ultra small ball again. One guy over 6'9" on the roster (if we sign Nurk) who is also injury prone is just asking for trouble.
We now have two point of attack defenders to pair with either Dame or Ant...we've sucked at creating turnovers so this is a good signing ..we've got guys who can run teams out of the gym now..Hart, Nas and Sharpe can all play the 3
Losing all our flexibility to overpay GP2 is a really tough pill to swallow. the way out of this mess is to have chauncey magically find a rotation that works and for someone like Nas to pop.
