I think there’s either more to come before the season starts or at the deadline, so I’ll say 7

I said 5th or 6th based on Dame being full healthy, bump up from Ant, integration with Hart as well. Grant will help, as well as improved defense with GPII.

I could see home court though just because of Dame being fully healthy. We all know he can carry a team and that's what I'm most excited about.

7th or 8th. Just as easily 9th or 10th. I think we make the play-in.

7th or 8th but I’d be more likely to go 9-10 over 5-6

Anywhere from 8-12 based on which other teams have injury issues. With Little and Nurk in the rotation it is a given we will have injury problems of our own.

What's your argument for the Lakers being better than the Nuggets? Last season, the Nuggets had the MVP and made the 6 seed. This year, still have that guy and now Murray is coming back. You'd have to think they're Top 6 again. Not sure how Lakers whose roster looks worse than last year's will all of the sudden improve in LeBron's 20th season. Also- I don't think the Gobert/Towns experiment is going to work.

Most of those teams suck. We're not one of them though.

You shouldn’t be allowed to question ANYONE if you put the Blazers at 1

    The takes are….
Well everyone is entitled to their opinion. Even if that opinion is wrong.
With that said, unwavering optimism is preferable over eternal skepticism. (Not you, you are a realist)

to answer the OP: please ask again when we see our finalized roster on opening day. Until then I see too many potential scenarios to give a quality answer.

Obviously how the Durant situation is a huge variable. We've got a shit ton of variables ourselves. Will Dame be better than ever after surgery? Will Ant be as effective of a SG as he was a PG for those two months? Will Grant be able to be more efficient offensively and able to lock in on defense with less pressure on offense? Will Sharpe pop? Will Nas take it to a new level and stay healthy? The more yesses the more wins. Reasonably Dame will be the best he's ever been. Reasonably Ant won't be as good at SG as he was at PG but he could definitely be better than CJ. Reasonably Grant will have the best season of his career, playing with a player like Dame and having gotten better since playing with Joker (the guy has shown he can play elite defense and be very efficient on offense when everything isn't put on his shoulder). Nas is a huge question mark and if anyone thinks they know how big or little of a factor Sharpe will be, they're kidding themselves.

If Nas has a Nas like season, Sharpe is developing more than contributing, Ant is just a slight step up from CJ, Dame has one of his best seasons, Grant has one of his best and Nurk is Nurk but remains healthy... along with Hart, Winslow and GP2 doing what we would expect, also assuming that none of Keon, Greg or Trendon pop but one or some of them and Eubanks can give us serviceable minutes then we should end up just above the play-in at 6 or even 5. That's the most likely scenario to me.

Dame could be better than ever, Ant could be just as good at SG or even better, Sharpe might beat out Hart and Nas for starting SF and that would be saying something huge... I guess one possibility that I didn't mention is that Nurk has a career year in consistency, playing his role and being satisfied and motivated to do so. Then we're a team with HCA and could even contend but those aren't the likeliest answers, just remote possibilities.

I think they finish 6th as currently constructed given reasonable health.
