Sharpe looks in control and smooth. That’s all you can ask for at this point

In control is huge for a 19 year old. Most are not. That’s why young guys struggle. They’re in over their head with the pace of the NBA and get flustered and hurry their game.

keep in mind, George was a year older than Sharpe when he played summer league.

That floater looked nice too. It's cool to see him have so many shots in his bag and that he doesn't always rely on his freakish athleticism. Really was playing within himself in those clips. It will be really interesting to see him play defense and see his level of consistency, when we get to watch him play unedited on Thursday.

Yep. And you know it’s going to speed up. It’s great to see him under control at all, given his time away from team ball

I think Sharpe will prove much further along than Ant at the same age. Fortunately, he will also have a leg up in the coaching department. Billups > Stotts for a young guy.

Yeah, Ant looked good but that's hard to watch with Biggie being in it so much.

Good point. Stotts basically stunted young players growth

As often as that gets repeated, I question if it's really true. Sure, Stotts didn't play the young guys much, but I'd argue he had borderline phenomenal success at developing them by year 3. (After that, they often seemed to plateau. Like he brought them along slowly to hit their peak earlier.) Maybe he put in the work in practice not in games, when it came to the young guys?

That was my thoughts too. So many moves he can go to. I am seeing Brandon Roy/Paul George type offensive players. Guys who got so many tricks in their bag while simultaneously in control of their ball

This kinda reminds me of when we drafted Damian Lillard and we had Nolan Smith. Thankfully, Keon is an infinitely better prospect than Smith. Not sure we have any room to develop him however.

I contend that Nolan wasn’t even really a point guard. It was the weirdest draft choice ever. Guy never should have been taken in the first round.

One thing Ive noticed, albeit in small samples, Shaedon looks like someone who plays well advanced for his age. like, he does take advantage of his athleticism, but also looks like someone who learned a lot of the game BEFORE his insane athleticism kicked in.

I need to see him play in some games before I offer an opinion. He certainly seems to have the physical tools.

I want to applaud your restraint. I of course am super stoked about Sharpe and a huge booster, but I really respect folks who can say "I don't have enough information to offer an opinion.". Kudos to you!
