There must be a trade brewing right?

You guys just need to relax. Joe has a trade waiting to consolidate this roster bring in size and versatility.

Eubanks will fill in nicely when Nurk get his annual injury.

You guys just need to be patient and see the bigger picture. A trade is obviously in the works!

Unlikely because of the hard cap.

I'm convinced we're waiting like the rest of the league for a shot at a 3 team deal to pick up a piece that becomes available with the KD trade....I don't think Lamarcus, Melo or Ed Davis or Rolo have signed anywhere yet....there are a lot of guys like that...Celtics were looking at signing Wenyen Gabriel I read the other day.

Ha I know. It was in jest. So many on here after we signed Payton said wait it’s part of a bigger plan. Same with after we made the CJ trade.

Apparently our management has no problems with unbalanced rosters.

We’ve been guard heavy since the Olshey era began.

You got guys like Keon and Didi who won't get in the rotation but it really doesn't look too cluttered.

    PG - Dame, Ant
    SG - Ant, Payton, Sharpe
    SF - Little, Hart, Sharpe

My issue is that while they won’t get in the rotations, they’re eating up cap space and roster spots.

    Why OT?

I hope we move Keon for a forward or center.

Naz Reid, Chimezie Metu, or Tony Bradley can be brought in in 1 for 1 deals.

Only Lillard and Simons are too small to play small forward so I am not worried about it. The other guys could all be called wings.
Heck, Gary Payton the second can even go after Nikola Jokić off the ball.

I don't disagree. Would be nice to consolidate and move to get back a 4/5 like Roby or Vanderbilt at a bare minimum. Better if it's Ben Simmons.

I hope so for his sake. He's a pretty good prospect but he's buried behind higher priorities. He needs to go to a team that will let him develop.

We can take back ~8-9 mil of salary if we move Keon/Winslow/Didi.

Then sign a minimum and still stay below the apron without affecting our current tax number if that's a priority.

Keon+Winslow+Didi (8.1 mil) for Zach Collins (7.4 mil) would work. I'm OK with Zach being our backup big more than Eubanks. We can even sign another minimum guy afterwards to fill out the roster (Roby?).

    Dame /GP2
    Ant/ Sharpe
    Hart/ Nas
    Grant / Roby
    Nurk/ Collins

Certainly looks more balanced on paper.
