I believe that's called a hair "weave" or a "hairplug" depending on your need

I do love it when the wife or girlfriend wants to "assimilate me" and believe me resistance is so futile it's usually non-existent.

Hair is one thing, but does this guy ever smile? Is he always sad or is it Kawhian behavior?

I think we'll see him smile once he's playing again. He was smiling during draft night.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sharpe got only mopup minutes for the first half of the season. I think he can earn and develop in practice or in G-league just as well or better than playing 15 minutes against guys he may not be ready to play against. I see some comparisons to Kobe's playing time. I see nothing that tells me Sharpe has anywhere near the toughness and desire to be great and to dominate that Kobe had.

That's pretty harsh. Sharpe deserves the time to show what he can do before we make assumptions on his character. Damn!

A lot of people seem to fall into two camps when it comes to players.

    Future star or absolute bum.

Very true. The deal is, Sharpe is very young. In a new place, and trying to find his way. I surely hope he surrounds himself with family, much as Dame has. That's going to be vital to the young man. Focus, work on your craft, and stay away from idiots who want to drag you down. As fans, lets give him the support and nurture him. Make him feel welcome. This is a great basketball town. Let's show him.

Kid has a quiet confidence about him!

“I see myself being one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball,” said Sharpe. “Playing at the highest level, just getting after it, competing. One of my goals coming in as a rookie is being Rookie of the Year. That’s one of the goals. And then, All-Star. And later on, Hall of Fame.”

I like confidence, but I want evidence first. If he can get ROY, on this team? It means either he's REALLY good and earned his time (i.e., he basically made certain players unnecessary) or there was a slew of injuries and he got minutes right away.

The only acceptable thing is he's really good. I want to see him prosper on a healthy Blazers team. We all do. At least i hope we all do. Some make me wonder.
