    Yes, I know that's what we have always done and unless we get our own G league team or find a team that will let an assistant coach go with him, then practice is best. Except since there are so few full practices during the season for rotation players, he most likely would practice against scrubs.

    Not swayed. Anyone with a competitive mindset would see that as an opportunity.

    I mean, if he's really that scared of getting hurt, and then gets hurt 5 minutes into his first pro stint, what's that say about his durability and state of mind?

    There is no length these players will grow that will surpass the length of the wait it will feel like until preseason now. So keep stretching all you want.
    Summer league was to be our opportunity to get our eyes on him for, really, the first time.
    This stretch of two months is going to feel like two years…………………………………………………

    After he comes back just a bit too early and sustains the same injury again only this time needing surgery to repair it he will be a lock for "Rookie of the Year" next season when Dame has been traded to the Lakers for Russ.
