    You don't get much say in brand of shoes when you're suited up for an athletic department sponsored by one of the big ones. That has little impact on what his choice might be as a pro.

    I’m surprised Mathew Dellavedova made it back to the NBA, but Aron Baynes hasn’t.

    I suspect Delly won’t see much court time in Sacto, and was brought in to provide a veteran locker room presence and demonstrate a good work ethic.

    I think teams want to see Baynes play in games to see if he’s fully over his injury before they think about signing him. He’ll be playing in the Australian NBL for the Brisbane Bullets.

    Spinal surgery is a serious red flag...I wish him well...he's the perfect backup for Nurk but we can't afford him...we only have a two way to hand out and he's played too long for that
