Agree with all of it, except Russia invading Ukraine. That was going to happen regardless of anything the US did.

It's now or never for Russia. They have to invade Ukraine and many other countries and gain control of their resources and younger and more skilled populations or Russia will end up a failed state in a decade which can't defend itself from ground invasion.

Putin did this because Trump pulled the plug on NATO funding and postured that NATO wasn't a good alliance...it's checkers not chess... as Secretary of State Hilary kept Putin in check...Trump coddled him and allowed him to see how bluster could go unchecked. Trump tried to make Ukraine and the dems the bad guys and Putin the hero. Same with our Iran policy....they had their nuke program held in check under Obama and under Trump they are now free to build nukes and weapons all they like ...even helping North Korea do the same.

If you can't defend your position, again, bring up Hillary Clinton.
    Distraction.

Actually I think that backfires for him in this circumstance.

I don't think so. Putin and Trump's goal was to have Trump win so there would be no NATO resistance at all.

Honestly, if Hillary would have won I don't think Putin would have waited this long. Not a fault of Hillary, but because there would have been no strategic advantage to waiting.

Russia had a more capable force in 2016 than they do now. But if Trump had fully broken NATO (as he likely would have in a second term) and there was no US aid due to Trump being president, Russia would take Ukraine quickly and Ukraine wouldn't have as much incentive to keep fighting.

Everything he says or does backfires in his face...but he just wipes off the dirt and go "hyuck, how about this totally unrelated subject I desperately need attention about?"

It's not a personal attack to challenge someone to defend their statements, and to point out they respond by changing the subject.

Not only is this a false claim, but Rs voted for this same bill in June, and you've had a high ranking R come out and say that they voted against it out of spite because of another completely separate bill. Talk about ACTUALLY disrespecting the troops, but you gotta toe that party line no matter how ridiculous!!!

I find it odd that Mitt Romney voted against it.

Going after VA healthcare and benefits is not going to gain more conservative votes. I have no idea how the GOP can pretend this is a good thing....do they know how many young americans are promised these benefits as perks to join the military and put their lives at risk? There are a whole lot of vets in red states who couldn't make it without the VA.....look at Lanny who was shot up in a machine gun nest in Nam......tell me how the fuck you could take Lanny's healthcare away and live with yourself in this country. Six years ago the VA saved my life. Anybody who thinks that the stress of war, cigarettes that were 22 cents a pack on the base and burn parties or red lead painting on boats didn't contribute to health issues later in life is full of shit.

Senate passed the bill for vets against the GOP protests...good to see Joe will sign it into law. Some long overdue relief for the toxic burn victims.

Thanks for your service brother. The military industrial complex should be taxed directly and specifically for veteran assistance.
