I'm indifferent about the whole thing. My guesses: Trump had stuff to hide, was tipped off, got rid of it, making the FBI et al look bad.

I wouldn't be surprised if he got rid of evidence. We haven't heard if they found anything or not though I guess.

Would the good stuff, if he was foolish enough to keep evidence linking him to crimes, be at Mar a Lago or Trump Tower? On second thought, it's not likely he would keep that stuff in New York where he isn't welcome. Though, I'm sure his lawyers have probably instructed him to hide anything incriminating in another undisclosed location, or more likely to destroy it.

But Trump doesnt look bad after knowingly stealing classified documents? Just the FBI? "Hey, I stole your shit and threw it away. Dont you look stupid for looking for things you and I both know I stole". Sound, sound logic there.

Hey, theres other drinks besides Kool-Aid.

Been reading that they did, but nothing corroborated so nothing factual yet.

If it were anyone else, I'd be shocked if there was anything left.

But it's trump. And hes a fucking moron. His ego probably had him keep some stuff there. And that would not be shocking.

Makes you think those with connections with Trump that are tweeting savagely against this, Greene, Ingram etc....does Trump have stuff connecting to him in crimes and are they afraid the FBI may have found it.

If they arent there, they are in the texts that were deleted. Or in Jones' phone. They are somewhere. They never expected to get caught because of the presumed insulation from the law.

The reason all this shit takes so long is because of the walls of safeguards the fucking idiot... I mean, T*ump put in place. The glacially slow pace, though, is finally speeding up.

Remember, the J6 committee reconvenes in September. And this shit is all happening in the interim. Its a lot of hurry up and wait for us, but with the news of this week of yet ANOTHER branch of law funneling in on T*ump, it seems to be a matter of when, not if.

Remember how long it took for watergate.

Trump doesn't have a leg to stand on. He openly took files with him that were classified and belong in government files. His lawyers had to be telling him this was possible. We know he destroyed some evidence via the toilet and other means. What he has left is the question.

For the FBI to serve a search warrant on a former president, they had to be sure and were likely tipped off. I applaud their leak free search. No one knew till it happened.

An empty safe?? I mean, Trump with an empty safe would be akin to @barfo not having a plank on his ship.

I'm surprised he hasn't already announced his reelection campaign to try and raise more money/get this raid out of the news cycle. Idk. What an assclown.

Oh, I know. He was the fastest sitting president to launch a reelection campaign which is why I'm surprised. There has to be something i.e. midterms, DeSantis, ect., stopping him and his massive ego from doing it.

With Trump claiming executive privilege over anything damming to him or those in his inner circle, it's understandable it's going to take time to cut through the bureaucratic tape as to what is and isn't protected.

This raid shows no one is above the law, and that an ex president can't claim immunity for his crimes. Even it takes a while longer, Trump knows he is in deep shit. Won't be long before he jumps on a Jet overseas to somewhere that doesn't extradite criminals.
