good post....I think people have more trouble with the idea of a female owner than with Jody the person....she's actually done more in a short time than Paul did for his last decade at the helm. She's been at games when we were tanking...I don't get the vitriol pointed her way. Under her we've made a major change so far.
The allegations against Jody are reasons people don't like her. Is that fair if she didn't do what she was alleged of doing? No. And sometimes settling is the easy thing to do. However, it does make you look more suspicious when you do that. I don't think it has to do with her being a woman. They settled it amongst themselves. No one else's business at that point. She was not found guilty of anything.
I have no problem with PK buying the team....just don't think that Jody has been a problem as an owner by any stretch....Paul hired Olshey...Jody fired Olshey...she cleaned house last season and doesn't blink about giving Dame an extension ...she hired Chauncey and Joe....I see no lack of leadership from the franchise these days.
I don't have anything against Jody owning the team, and I don't have anything against Phil owning the team. If Phil buys it, though, we have to start thinking about what his estate planning is like, because Phil is no spring chicken. barfo
That's not true at all. If the allegations are true, then she is not someone I want owning my team. Sorry. Just because someone has money and can pay someone a high enough number to go away doesn't make something like sexual assault or harassment nobodies business. I sure as hell wouldn't leave my kids or wife around someone who potentially sexually assaulted or harassed someone.

I don't care at all that she's a woman. I just want the team as far from Vulcan and Bert as possible. Phil Knight would be a perfect owner.
