The Rangers team defense has sucked all season. So has the coaching. The veterans are playing like dog shit.

Pivotal time for them in the next few weeks.

As usual Al you watch games with your eyes closed. Other teams have developed their young players properly while this organization has been incompetent. Due to properly developing their young players, the Rangers consistently look slow and lack talent at even strength against these other teams. Shesterkin had to be in the zone last year for them to win most games. That is not the case so far. Even if he got hot, this team has not improved. Other teams all over the league have because they develop their young players properly. We replaced Strome with Trochek. Yes, a good upgrade. We replaced Motte with Vesey. A major downgrade. We replaced Copp with Kravtsov. An enormous downgrade. We replaced Vatrano with Blais. An enormous downgrade. Now, granted three of those four were at the deadline. However, with all the other teams improving and this team not, the playoffs are looking bleak, early. You are failing to comprehend, which is common among our fan base, that other teams in this conference didn't stay the same or get worse. Many of them got a lot better. This team did not and it shows.

Sky is falling, sky is falling. Then the lazy typical refrain of fire everyone. Rinse and repeat every 2 or 3 years or so. Pathetic.

I am not at all sold on this team, not enough depth, need Kakko and Lafreniere to make an impact even if not scoring, shoot more, Panarin man up, etc. But I am also not going to bail this early, and AGAIN ask for another coach to be fired. Unreal.

I think by game 35 to 40, we will be calling the Rangers sellers at the deadline. Gorton and Drury giving out moronic NMC and NTC's will make even that more difficult. Last night was a perfect example of Gallant getting dumber in this second season as head coach which is his track record. Look at the decline of his teams from his first year coaching a team, to his second, to his third. Hopefully they can convince Panarin to accept a trade. He's a -8 so far. He is all wrong for this team when it comes to developing our young players. All he wants to do is play east-west hockey and make low percentage passes.

Probably they will pile up enough points to stay in the wildcard race at least. I agree on Panarin. Too much of that east west crap. They have two first rounders in the next draft at least.
