Already a head coach showing desperation. Putting the kid line back together. So, you hope the kid line will save your team but you won't put any of them on the first PP unit. Pathetic.
We've truly done a poor job developing Kakko and Lafreniere. Last year we greatly benefitted from Kreider pulling a 50+ goal season out of his rear end but we were not prepared for this season when he'd come back to his career averages. This is Kakko's 4th and Lafreniere's 3rd season and they're far behind where they should be developmentally to provide the scoring depth needed and be scoring leaders in the future as our current top players age.
100 % because this dumbass organization won’t put them on the first power-play unit where all top scorers get a lot of points.
Keep sucking off the vets Al. By the way, NJ which develops their young kids properly is 11-3. They'll probably be winning another 3 cups while this organization takes it up the ass as usual.
The homosexual fantasy overtones....just wow. No one can talk about how great Panarin and Zibanejad are playing right now without drump immediately thinking of a guy giving another guy head. Honestly, its about two thirds of what he posts on here anymore. He is right though, Kakko and Lafreniere are nowhere close to where everyone expected them to be even at this early stage of their careers. They simply are not offensive threats. Granted they are still very young and have a long way to go in their careers (hopefully) and development but, they are way behind where they should be and where the Rangers need them to be to be considered legitimate Cup contenders.
This Rangers dont know how to develop players is so fucking bullshit and a cop out... the game doesnt change one bit between pee wee and the NHL. You shoot the puck into the net...having one less defender on the ice doesnt make you ANY FRIGEN BETTER ... sorry but last years pp was the 4th best in the league and at times dominated play. You dont break that up to give a snot nose kid playing time to stroke his fragile ego that would...make him better... cry about the first unit getting ice time...most of the time the first unit holds the puck in the offensive zone for 1:45 at a clip... ...your not going to move someone who has 50 goals in a season..nor a guy who has 90 points on the season...you dont give up the ability to go after a cup just because you have young players on the team. Since you love talking about Rookies and other teams...go be a fan of theirs... stop beating a dead fucking horse with the same bullshit over and over again. The kid line last night had 1 shot on goal last night...by Chytil... Kraavtsov had 2 shots...Gautheir had 2 shots... kakko... 0...Lafreniere ..0 ... Gauthier and Kravtsov had less ice time..... 1 shot on goal... Vesey in less minutes than both Laf and Kakko had 4 shots on goal...
100% Al, the biggest offensive onslaught of the year and the kids are battling to keep the puck along the boards or driving away from the net instead of toward it. Laf and Kakko have been given every opportunity by the Rangers to achieve. Both were put right on the big team without having to do any AHL time. They have both received tremendous amounts of PP time during their brief careers and produced nothing. Laf has played 182 minutes of PP time in his career and logged 1 primary and 1 secondary assist, seems to me that he's more of an even strength threat. In the last 3 years only 4 forwards - Mika, Artemi, CK and Ryan Strome had more PP minutes than Kappo Kakko - 281 minutes/5 G/13 A so to say the coach doesn't give him PP time is a lie. As Al and anyone with hockey sense obviously pointed out, you don't break up one of the best PP units in the NHL to appease underachievers. I don't get the Panarin hate when he's 7th in the league in scoring but I guess some have already forgotten about the years Zucc would lead the anemic offense averaging well under a point per game.
