BTW, Ducks men's basketball lost badly to UC Irvine at home. Dante has to be double or triple teamed to stop him but this team cannot take advantage because no one can shoot threes (4 for 21 last night and I think just as bad in the previous game). Still no one on the team that brings the toughness of Pritchard, Brooks or Jordan Bell. A couple of the transfers are injured so maybe with Altman's coaching it will get better. Last night he looked the same as last year; very animated and intense, as if he was trying to make up for the team's lack of same.
well, you could talk about the Duck play-calling being questionable, and it was definitely questionable. Too cute on the three yard line in the 1st half resulting in a fumble. Going for an onside kick. yet another QB sneak of 3rd and 5 at the Husky 9. Not taking a time-out and getting Nix back in the game on that 4th & 1 or you could talk about the one bad snap that cost the Ducks a great chance at a 2 score lead but if you don't talk about one of the worst Duck passing defenses, ever, you're talking about the wrong thing
Guess we don’t have to worry about the Tennessee hypotheticals and the CFP! Add in the Dye injury and looks like another season with no P12 team in the playoff.
I was talking hypotheticals with my dad yesterday (and he’s actually the reason I’m a Duck fan) He was talking scenarios. I said don’t jinx it. He said you’re right they’ll probably lose to a team they shouldn’t. And here we are. And if I went to U of O my gripes would be more valid. Yadda yadda
Yep. I was saying last week or the week before that the Pac12 was doing a great job of not cannibalizing itself. That is no longer true.
My son said he heard Hudson mention in an interview that it sounded like Bo wouldn't be playing and TT would be the qb?
Some pro bettor was just on a morning show I listen to and he said from what he’s hearing Nix unlikely to go. Take it for what it’s worth.
I've heard the opposite. That right now the Ducks are thinking Bo will get the start and test his ankle; and the the Ducks are creating uncertainty for Utah's benefit but I know from experience that the first week after an ankle sprain can go either direction. If it's a high ankle sprain it's a much longer recovery too. Bo could be much worse tomorrow or Saturday morning than he was on Tuesday if it's Ty Thompson, I don't think the Ducks have much of a chance, not with their defense
A holding penalty in the red zone saves the Ducks' defense....the offense responds with a 3-and-out. This is gonna be ugly.
