I'm a little bit angry that Poland was calling for an emergency NATO meeting when I believe they already had satellite tracking info from USA that showed missile came from Ukraine and was most likely an anti aircraft missile that went astray. I accidentally looked at first page in this thread and saw something to the effect that Biden was "mulling" whether to send USA troops to Ukraine. I don't believe he ever thought about that for a second. BTW just saw a column by a conservative who said Biden has done just about perfect on balancing things amid his support of Ukraine Second day in a row that russian casualties substantially down, not sure if they are getting more caustious or if soldiers refusing to go to slaughter. I think I understand what you mean This war is the main event of our lifetimes so far. A classic battle between democratic values and autocratic values. Between the rule of law and the rule of one mad man. Between good and evil. A battle to defend all of Europe from an aggressive imperialist. (Just saw Buffy St. Marie talking about the Discovery Doctrine, which was the policy of the Catholic church for a long time. Indigenous people must agree to be enslaved as Catholics or they would be killed. Isn't that what russia's message to Ukrainians is now? Agree to be an enslaved russian or else we torture and kill you.) And yet the socalled free world mostly just stands by and observes, letting Ukraine do all the heavy lifting, all the killing and dying. And the media reflects the lack of interest by most people.
