Agree…Joe was clear from the beginning that this year didn’t represent a finished process.

PJ could never grasp coaching pros differently than college guys. That was his primary downfall. Good coach. Just zero clue how to handle grown men who make millions.

when PJ was coaching in Portland I had to watch with the sound off as I couldn't take his constant yelling. I'm sure that was even more grating on the players

Take away the two Dallas games and what does our record look like for the past month?

I mean, I loved the Dallas games, but they look more like Dame going supernova than a team breakthrough.

Credit where credit's due: Chauncey always gets one awesome quarter per game out of this team. Shame it couldn't be more than that.

How come it's rarely the first quarter and if it is the next three are bad enough to negate the first quarter?

I sat 3rd row behind Calabro last night and watched CB, every time a Raptors player was close he was talking their ear off, even FVV after the tech, didn’t see Nurse do this kinda shit all game. I don’t like how chummy CB is, like his job out there is to make friends or make sure the other team’s players are doing well. Let’s see some fire for once.

Agree 100% as stated above. It is just bad optics. Are you focusing on the game if you’re constantly chatting with the opponent? Pat Riley wanted to rip your throat out not yuck it up with guys. I hate it.

That's something I've noticed too, and I think it's a difference in how players now-a-days are compared to the old days. Not sure I like it or dislike it though.

Chauncey is a horrendous coach. I was completely wrong on him

we have a bottom 5 coach in the league.

we also have a bottom 5 gm in the league.

    terrific combination.

Where does ownership rank? Used to be one of the best in the game?

I don't agree about Dallas, but a breakthrough is exactly what Billups should be striving for.

It’s really hard to judge CB with the rosters he has been given; everyone and their mama knew we didn’t have enough size.

My thread stating that Cronins tenure has been a complete disaster outlined this; his attention was to get “longer, more athletic, bigger” and we did the exact opposite.

That said, I think when new ownership comes in, we should cut the cord and move forward with a new GM and coach.

has Chauncey done anything, at all, that would make a reasonable person say: "yeah, this guy should get a couple more years to show what he's got?"
