Another guy we’ll see as he’s 25 as whoever is developing all these stud prospects is failing miserably. The Martian only In double A after all this time!!! Trade him for Reynolds

I've been harping on this question for a long time. Yeah, we have soon good prospects but realistically, what are their chance of actually being full time players on the Yanx roster? I mean, how many damn SSs do we have, and why does management stubbornly act like they are all somehow "untouchable"?

Instead of hoping a prospect may or may not pan out in the future, I'd much rather use them as bait/leverage to acquire proven players.

Yep, you sure have been saying that much for a long time indeed!

Take Andujar and Frazier, both out of baseball more than likely forever. Clint done changed his name to Jackson, no not Reggie "have you tried my tasty candy bar yet" Jackson. Guess his bad MLB experience(s) made him want to hide and disown himself. Andujar was DFA'd by the Pirates last Friday, to make room for McCutchen. Word has it he might be able to find a home in the Bucs infield, and he's not even arbitration eligible until 2024.

I bet Florial is the next guy to be floundered away, wasting away and going nowhere beyond the Yanx Farm system, another potential trade target that's not even being talked about.

Luke Voit was his own biggest fan and supporter, (other than his own jock strap).
Not that Luke is even worth the mention since the Yanx found a real first baseman to make us all forget the Voit experiment, or even worth including in this discussion, other than to say, the Yanx only received a no-body Minor Leaguer in return, Justin Lange, (played in FCL rookie ball last year, with a 6.44 ERA and a 7.4 BB//9) as a Starter, of 12 games.

Yup, and without even looking to check, the last pitcher I can remember the Yanx drafting and then developing into a dominating starter was.....Andy Pettitte, who was drafted in 1990.
