Dame and Grant fit. Sharpe starts by year 3.
Everyone else? Though they’re easy to cheer for, it’s about their fit and having the best team possible.

I want to say this clearly. Sharpe could start today at SG and I think due to fit (him playing much better D and not needing the ball on O) might be a net gain compared to Ant. If he's a net negative it's only by a small amount. Guys his defense is really good. His offense, if getting starters minutes, would improve quickly and give his teammates and us fans two or three moments a game that would drop all of our jaws and get us excited.

I understand the excitment around Sharpe, but he might be our worst defender and his shooting against 2nd units is worse than Ant as a starter.

He's a ways away from being a starter in my opinion.

He’s a rookie. Extremely few rookies are good defenders, and Sharpe isn’t, yet. He can make plays, but give him a couple years. Time.

This site is parsing out one of the two trades that Bobby Marks "likes" for us and they both send out one of our small players but they bring back three small players and the fact is Duarte plays smaller than Josh and obviously McConnell does. The other trade is Keon for the Rocket's Garrison Matthews who can't even get a lot of PT on that dumpster fire. These aren't good trades for us in a vacuum and maybe Marks thinks we need a true backup PG but unless this trade were accompanied by a trade involving Ant that brought back a bigger starting SF than Josh and a backup big with size and athleticism... Marks is completely ignoring our roster's biggest problem which is that way too much of our talent lacks size/length.

Any trade that can actually be made will be a lateral move. There is no quick fix, I’m shocked management hasn’t figured this out after the past 10 seasons.

If they are lateral moves as far as talent that bring in players that can play the type of ball Chauncey is asking for then it will improve this awful thing we're seeing on the court.

I think if you watched both Dame and Chauncey's pressers, there is no doubt there will be moves made and from how both guys acted they will be big. Big enough that Dame didn't like the idea of having to answer to his teammates for them. So that probably means guys he really cares about like Ant and Nurk.

Maybe Kings being 3rd in the Conference want to push for it? If Jerami agrees to an extension i think this is a good trade for both teams. Murray is a good shooter on a rookie deal. A solid starter for a team that is playing winning basketball. Holmes fils a need.

I think Dame, Grant, and Sharpe are the only 3 guys that won't be shopped

    Supposedly Ant is untouchable also?
