I would be worried about his offense. He seems to be reverting to the mean and as someone here said he would be most valuable with other high IQ (and aware) players around him.

let me turn this back your direction...do you think it should be considered? Would there be any value to trying the experiment?

I don't really give a shit about "could" as a "stop-the-discussion-it's-pointless" question. That kind of question was asked all the time about whether Olshey would ever trade CJ. We all knew he wouldn't, which is one big reason why so many wanted Olshey fired by the time he was. If Chauncey won't at least consider changing his rotation then his seat should be warm, at the minimum

I wouldn't be, because he'd be on the floor with 3 highly capable scorers who all want shots, and he has shown the ability to play off the ball. If anything, I'd be most concerned about how the lack of defensive attention given to GP2 might affect Grant.

I would say that’s my biggest knock on both gp2 and hart. It allows other teams to almost not even have to worry about them. Then when they do get it they pass up the open look.

I’m not a fan of the GPII acquisition at all. This is a guy who was on the brink of being out of the league at this time last year. His defense in the playoffs got him that contract. Sucks we had to be the team to pay him.

His contract doesn’t bug me. The fact his contract puts us over the tax threshold bugs me a lot.

I don't think there would be much value, no. And I also don't think Billups seat is warm, at all... at least not by the people making the decisions.

Now will you answer my question? Do you think it's a possibility that Ant won't start this season?

We're under the tax. His contract does hard cap us though. I have no idea why anyone would care if we were in the tax. We are owned by a trust worth over 10B, what concern is it of ours if they have to pay a tax bill, which again, as it stands today they are not in line to pay but they will actually receive a 17M payout.

Fair. I can't think of a scenario, but I suppose there is one out there.
