Well...... I found D'Angelo Russell to be mediocre and not much better than Ant, but the Warriors were able to get Wiggins for him.

was that the same front office that traded Vanderbilt, Beasely, the rights to Walter Kessler and 5 first round picks & swaps so they could pair Gobert with KAT?

Hart does have a higher TS% than Simons does right now... Just sayin.

Last night's game vs. Atlanta is about the best the Blazers can play right now. Lillard was sizzling hot, played with speed and power, and his team splashed 19 threes with impressive 47% accuracy.

How on earth did Atlanta make it a close game?

Blazers got mauled on the boards, destroyed in the paint, similar to the previous Raptors game. While Lillard, Grant and Simons were busy hunting shots and pretending to play defense, Josh Hart did all the grunt work that helped the Blazers actually win.

Josh had 12 of of the Blazers 32 rebounds

Blazers were so busy playing super shooter offense, they only grabbed 3 offensive rebounds. Josh snagged 2 of them.

Maybe the Hawks are a dang good rebounding team? Nope, ranked middle of the pack at #15

I see Josh Hart as the leg of an unbalanced kitchen table. Trading Josh at the deadline just to save a few bucks might cause this entire setup to crash.

He's being the ultimate 'glue guy'. When you are playing with 4 other players that 'need their shots' - Hart sacrifices his for the good of the team.

There was some stat that Holton threw out that the Raptors were scoring 0.5 points per missed shot due to the massive amount of offensive rebounds Toronto was getting. Hart has rebounded very well for an undersized SF, which he has to because Nurk doesn't play big in many games, and Grant is a career poor rebounder.

I mean it's the best the Blazers are playing right now but I don't think it's the best they can play because they've shown they can give sustained effort on both ends, they just haven't done that in a while. Giving up that many offensive boards is fucking embarrassing and they can definitely get opponents to miss and rebound those misses and a better rate than they did last night. I don't know if they'll ever be capable of competently defending the three point shot, they haven't shown an ability to consistently since Dame's been on the team but that's not the best this group can play because they can be that good on offense and be better on defense just by having the discipline to finish good defensive possessions with the effort to rebound.

what gets old is the, “see? I told ya so” folks that must go on and on being right about the team being bad. As if those who hope for the best cant also be realistic, know we aren't a contender, but hope we can be one.
Gets so old reading post after post thats nothing more than a “gotcha, your wrong” moment, when most of its still subjective.
Whats even funnier is some of those folks cant handle the same heat they toss out. Make it all personal and shit.

Huh, this account/user just joined on Jan. 13 and has been entirely pro-Josh Hart. Is this Josh Hart's burner account? We love you Josh!

Apparently since he's on the all underrated team per some randomass reditor (you're constantly quoting this shit like it means something and it's buffoonery) he must be without honor elsewhere as well.

Oh and I know I can't speak for everyone but most of us really appreciate what Josh does... no one is clamoring for the guy to be benched. We just wish he'd pull the trigger on open threes with more confidence and then there is the fact that unless Cronin already has a wink wink deal with the guy we might lose a really quality player for nothing. I'm pretty sure if the option on Hart's contract for next season was ours and not his, most in here wouldn't be so keen on trading the guy.

I'd be more OK with Hart's current role if he had above-average handles for his size/position. Currently, he seems to get pressured easily, and lacks the ability to break the pressure/break guys down off the dribble. Couple that with the below-average mid game and perimeter shooting, and it makes it much easier for teams to gameplan defensively against Dame, especially in a playoff atmosphere.

If only he could knock down 3's like Grant can, oh man... He'd be an elite role player.

A very tall player that can shoot jumpers, and the occasional 3 ball. Not speedy at all, a lumbering gate. Tall enough to affect shots, grab some boards. Definitely an offensive minded big man. Super cheap contract! Which is why the Blazers think they can trade a bag of chips to get Naz. The armchair GM's in this area are adamant they can pick any crappy Blazer to match Reid's salary and improve the Blazers front line.

    6'9 F/PF size

But, yeah I'd be glad to have him. We need players over 6'8
