Does anyone still think that Watford can't be a solid rotation player on a good team?

There have been some pretty disparaging comments about him in here, idk, maybe because he wasn't drafted and people have to have the hype out of college.... He's always passed the eye test with me and is looking more solid all the time, like a guy that could make the 2nd unit click.

I've always liked Watford. Does what needs to be done and most of those things don't come with shine cause it's the little things. Gotta have a guy like Watford on your squad.

So are folks a little less likely to string up Blazers management?

Probably more likely to string up Warriors management right now.

I just figured out Nurk has me blocked on Twitter? I must have called him soft at some point and he actually read it?

Shooting him up with Toradol to force him to play tonight did wonders for that shot!

From an intellectual and personality standpoint, he reminds me of Channing Frye. I think he'll become a fan favorite, mostly for what he does off the floor. I mean when's the last time in an NBA interview that you heard a guy mention roadtripping for hikes and waterfalls?

I actually like guys who think independently, even if I may disagree with them. #KeepPortlandWeird

We're in two completely different situations. Doc is looking at getting to a Championship. Guys have narrowly defined roles on that team, and some people have to sublimate their game to help the team win. We're not really thinking about being that competitive this year, so this year it's more like figuring out who can do what and how the pieces fit together. So as an individual player, of course, he's going to enjoy the freedom the lack of competitive stress brings.

And somewhere Paul George is watching that highlight saying to himself, "That's still a bad shot."

Also, reading a bit more about Thybulle, his mom was a naturopath. That perspective may have made his decision matrix different when it comes to getting the COVID shots. I'm cool with his decision and respect that it appears to have been a thoughtful one.
