Even better! (Thanks for checking my math, I was still waking up on my train commute in to Boston)

I've been slacking off on this...time for an update. The order hasn't changed, though Embiid has opened up a gap on the field.

    1. Embiid - 1840 in 55 games, 33.45 ppg
    2. Luka - 1879 in 57 games, 32.96 ppg
    3. Dame - 1774 in 55 games, 32.25 ppg
    4. Giannis - 1703 in 54 games, 31.54 ppg
    5. SGA - 1815 in 58 games, 31.29 ppg

Given that there are only 13 games remaining, Dame would have to average more than 38 ppg the rest of the way to reach the level Embiid is at. Getting further and further out of reach.

I don't think Dame will be beating these guys. It seems like we're ramping down for the tank and he has cooled off a bit.

He just needs one 82 point game and then he can get by with 30 the rest of the way. ;)

Not much movement. Embiid is still a full ppg ahead of Dame.

    1. Embiid - 1878 in 56 games, 33.54 ppg
    2. Luka - 1879 in 57 games, 32.96 ppg
    3. Dame - 1815 in 56 games, 32.41 ppg
    4. Giannis - 1728 in 55 games, 31.42 ppg
    5. SGA - 1844 in 59 games, 31.25 ppg

There is some chance that this could move a bit? If Dame continues to play and keep his numbers up Philly could run into a few tanking teams and not keep Embiid on the floor late? When do they start thinking playoffs and try to keep him healthy? Cannot see this happening with Luka though. They need every win. Right now the scoring title seems to be what Lillard is playing for. Not really sure I like that much.

I bet Damian is shut down after he plays 3 more games.

Then the team will finally just be like "Shaedon, do your thing".

Hahaha, who am I kidding. Billups will still not play him

I remember some crazy shit back in the day where I think it was David Robinson needed 70 to win the scoring title on the last day of the season over Shaq and got 71!

yeah that happened. The Admiral outscored Shaq by 39 points in the final games of the season. But I'm pretty sure Robinson entered that final game with the scoring lead

in 1978, there was an even crazier final night. David Thompson scored 74 points in his final game to take the scoring lead over George Gervin. But Gervin went out later that night and scored 63 to take the lead back

There could be a snenario in which future Blazer Joel Embiid plays less minutes down the stretch and score below his average, blowout games for example. Meanwhile, Dame says fcuk it, if we're not making the playoffs, might as well win something and proceeds to snag the highest ppg.
