Out all day and haven't caught up. Yesterday Princeton upset NC State on a three at the buzzer. Quite Lillardish.

Some surprises on Day Two. Top seeds continued to cruise, but a pair of #12 seeds, Toledo and Florida Gulf Coast, upset #5 Iowa State and Washington State, respectively. To the best of my knowledge, neither of these underdogs had ever advanced in NCAA.

Some traditional powerhouses had to struggle to get past lower seeded opponents, including Baylor, North Carolina, and Louisville.

Homer's ridiculous post O' the day:

How many of the sweet 16 teams couldn't totally kick the Blazers' ass?

At least you acknowledge that it's ridiculous to ask the question.

Ole Miss knocking out Stanford definitely a shocker on the women's side. At least, a shocker for me since I had the Cardinal winning. Serves me right for picking a color. Oh well--go Huskies, I guess.

Damn. Either Stanford was taken over by body snatchers or they made the fatal .mistake of thinking they just had to show up. More turnovers than a bakery. Finally tied the game late and botched two inbound plays. They will have a long time to think about it.

I told Lucia she is the only one who doesn't break my heart.

    Well I am sufficiently busted.

    Maybe if UCLA wins.

I just better not finish behind Mediocre’s spiteful bracket.
