Would anyone have seen this interview if he had not? And now you have seen it, I have seen it, and a lot of other people have seen it.

    yeah, I get that

I was thinking about treating people with some level of decency and respect. I didn't see any of that in the video

I think if Ant felt disrespected he would have said, "No comment." to the dude asking the question and none of us would have ever seen it.

JJJ's only flaw is he fouls too much. A bit more experience and I shudder to think.

Imagine if we could get this guy for Nurk, Nas, the 23rd pick two or even three future firsts. Then we trade our pick and Ant for OG and maybe Flynn and/or Koloko if it lands higher and just OG if it drops back.

Don't get me wrong I don't think JJJ is going anywhere but that would be pretty fucking cool.

I've just accepted the fact we have no assets to garner anything of value. We're kinda fucked lol

We will have a top 10 pick in this draft and the 23rd pick in this draft. If history is any indicator we could also easily have access to our 2026, 2028 and 2030 FRPs on draft day by just giving Chicago a second rounder. We have tradeable salaries that could match any player in the league. We have an 8.3M TPE. We have plenty of assets to garner a ton of value coming back to us. So if we are going to build around Dame we are definitely not fucked.

We also have the choice to trade Dame. Even though he can't be moved until July 9th, a trade could be agreed to in principle at any time between now and then. We have Ant, Shae, Nas, control over Matisse, our pick, pick 23 and pick 43 in this draft. We also have Trendon, Jabari, Keon and control over both Knox and Badji. I think that would be a pretty good start to a rebuild of guys, none of whom have entered into their prime. Maybe because he is a little older than the rest, you let Matisse walk. So if we go youth rebuild, again we're not fucked.

Lots of options, lots of moving and movable pieces. It's an exciting off season for our team.

Im thinking if Phoenix gets beaten bad that we could pull off a deal for Ayton.

I tried finding the thread where everybody was killing the league, and how horrible it is, but couldn’t find it.

I don't know where it is but it definitely happened. They were claiming that the NBA is less popular than ever. I cited the fact that NBA League pass has more subscriptions than ever and it's by a wide margin. I think people were talking about how low the All Star weekend ratings were. They also said that the regular season viewership is down. This article can give some context to all of that:

    https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/20...p-past-30-years-analysis-where-league-stands/

Obviously the popularity of the playoffs is doing that as well.

Maybe I'm just being pessimistic. Doubtful. It is an exciting off season and it's also the most important one we've had in the Dame era, maybe ever. I think we're at the wall and the ball can't get kicked any further.

It's definitely either time to push all of our chips in to put the most competitive team we possibly can around Dame for the next few seasons or it's time to move on from Dame. I think Cronin is committed to the first option so I think we will have the most competitive team in the Dame era next season. I'm just not sure it will be competitive enough to win any titles but we'll have to wait and see.

Like I said before I expect Toronto to sign him on the cheap.
