I was simply asking what other teams would be interested in Dame ... that Dame would be interested in going to outside of those teams .. and then what could they offer? Because the other guy seems to think we're going to get a kings ransom if we trade Dame. Hard to see how.
Dame can't be traded till more than 2 weeks after the draft. And I'd bet, even if he does eventually ask to be traded, it won't be till training camp, at the earliest so that 4th pick looks like a total pipedream to me. and as bad as Portland was, Rockets won 11 fewer games. I have a very hard time believing that Houston would see Dame/Harden as a path to contention. Harden couldn't even help the MVP out of the 2nd round I know that the trade-Dame crowd will keep bringing up the Gobert trade or other godfather trades for Dame, but I don't believe a single one will be realistic
So does this kind of thing disprove the claim that "Wemby has been playing against grown men." If Mario can look this good in Europe, it calls into question the whole system.
There are only a few teams who would want him and none of them have enough draft picks or young players that would help us long term. It will have to be an incredibly complicated and creative deal to get even half of the value Rudy brought back.
