PBS is some of the best stuff for kids in teaching them how to be good kids. Dealing with emotions, being kind etc.
It really is. I'm so glad to have grown up with it and that my son is growing up with it too. It taught me a lot as a kid, watching it after school and on the weekends. We subscribe to it and hopefully that keeps it alive. If they need to charge more to keep things going, I'm for it. Hopefully, it sticks around.
@SlyPokerDog if you get in trouble on here as a member, sounds like mandatory viewing of PBS should be a prerequisite to returning.
Thanks. Thought so. I used to watch alot of PBS as a kid. Did they also have the electric company? Just never knew what channel I was watching as a child.
In what world is Sesame Street, Mr Rogers, Reading Rainbow, The Electric Company, Bill Nye, Ghost Writers, Carmen San Diego, etc etc bad for kids?
Daniel Tiger incorporates stuff from mr. Rodgers. Arthur is great. Bill nye the science guy. Carmen sandiego. My kids loved Molly of Denali.
