It will be very close, and I think that whoever has the hot hand on each day will end up getting more carries. However, overall I'd have to say Chester Taylor just because he's the veteran. They might just want to east AD into the grueling 16 games by letting Chester get more carries. But i do expect it to be very close to 50-50.
Chester 70 adrian 30 at the beginning but it will be close to 50-50 by the end of the year. It all depends on how well Adrian does when he gets his hands on the ball.
About 60-40 in favor of Chester. They probably want to ease AD in there seeing as his somewhat injury prone.
Chester will get 60% and Peterson will get 40%. That's just a guess though. I aaume Childress will give Chester the nod because of his experience.
It's almost too close to call, but I'm thinking it will be Taylor over Peterson. I've always been a fan of Taylor. I'm planning on talking to him about it this weekend. I'm heading to Rochester on Saturday because CT will be at an Alltel store signing autographs. I found the information in the newspaper. Here's the link. http://www.postbulletin.com/newsmanager/te...22&a=305660
It will favor Taylor in the begining because Peterson will be a liability in blitz pickup, but as the season goes on, they will turn the reigns over to Peterson and it wouldnt suprise me if Taylor was released next off season
Chester Taylor will get more carries because they might be afraid of getting Adrian Peterson injured and maybe he'll get more of the action next year.
Chestor Taylor as he has shown that he can be a work horse. AP will be a good change of pace back and will get his fair share, but when the Vikings need a workhorse, they'll turn to Chestor.
BTW, the talk about AP being injury prone is ridiculous. The guy had one injury in college (that he re-injured) and suddenly he is "injury prone". Everybody gets injured at some point or another.

Peterson will get more carries when its all said and done. The first game and Taylor's already injured. Peterson had 103 yards on 19 carries. 1 reception for 60 yards, and a TD. Pretty impressive stats for a rookie on his first NFL season game.
AP is the man. He is going to have a long career in Minnesota as long as he can keep the injuries down.
