The Vikes usually fare better against good teams. For that reason, I expect them to play a tough game. If we win, however, its going to be close, say 34-31.

    A few predictions:

-Moss will have a huge game. He needs redemption for last weeks interception.
-Priest Holmes will have his way with the Vikings D (doesn't take a soothsayer to make that prediction).
-Even though our special teams are terrible, they will not give up a TD to Daunte Hall. However, he will have two really good returns.
-Aaron Elling will be perfect in field goals.
-Culpepper will overthrow a lot of passes.

I know, most of these are obvious...but hey, I like being right. [IMG]

I could buy that. I think both teams have bad defenses and it will almost certainly be a shootout. I'm not sure who I'd pick her though. I guess I'll take the home team, that seems to be the only advantage in this matchup.

This is funny. KC has a great record. The Vikings have a horrible record in the last 6-7 games. Yet, you can't argue with the logic that the Vikings have a real chance in this game.

No defense and good offense makes for an anyone's game scenerio. Either team winning this will surprise me in the least.

i definitly think that vikings will pull up as the victors, after losing last week, they know they need to win this week if they still want a chance at leading their division and the playoffs

pbvikingplayer, welcome to the forums. I am with you, but I just realized something that did put a bit of fear in me today: KC is playing for home field advantage.

I still think the Vikings have more to play for this week and will bring their A game. But if both teams bring their best games, who comes out the winner?

it'll be close, but vikings (somehow) r gonna come out the winners i think, if they don't though, i think they will be out of the playoffs

Agreed, if they lose tomorrow, its over for them. They don't have the mental toughness to take another tough loss.

We are seeking home-field advantage (needing a NE loss). But another loss would tie us with Indy, who also wins the tiebreaker scenerio.

The Pack are gaining on the men in purple too though, so it's not like they don't need this game also.

With our defenses, the score could end up 56-49. (KC's favor, of course)! Good luck tomorrow Vikes.

Oh yeah, I think Dante will break the return for the record tomorrow.

    *Gulp*

I can tell you this: I'm watching the game with a bottle of Pepto by my side. With every kickoff and punt I'll be taking a swig.

Must be nice to have a man that can single handedly put the fear of Gehena in the oposing team.

Talk about Pepto. I am already having Culpepper to Moss TD nightmares. Have you seen our pass defense. This really could be a shootout. Team with the most INTs wins!

Both teams have the big playmen, but that is why the vikes should be more consistent with their running game, they have great running backs, KC knows Culpepper will make a few deep passes which is y the should run the ball more and keep KC on their toes, and KC will just run the ball most of the time, since the vikings defense against the run sucks, and Priest is one of the top running backs, if not the top, in the league, so it'll be close
