In three games, all wins, Carlos Delfino has racked up 40 points, 21 rebounds, 12 assists, and 7 steals, while shooting 37% from three. His 2-point field goal percentage could stand to improve but I don't think he's used to drawing this much defensive attention.

Could everyone be looking at Joe Dumars next season wondering why the hell he would let Delfino go for a box of cookies and a handshake?

The reason the Pistons traded him for nothing is because they were freeing up space to sign back Billups. But they could of got more than what they did.

Delfino will proably average around 8-9 PPG 5-RPG 2-APG.

Better than he did on the Pistons.

I would be very happy to see those kind of numbers out of DELF. I think they'll be slightly lower because the position will be platooned but I hope for big things from him and like what I see in this tourny so far.

I never thought he got a fair shake in Detroit and I expect good things out of him in Toronto

19 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and two steals for Delfino in a double-OT win over Panama. Best of all he shot 8/15.

I do thing Carlos Delfino's numbers will go up but I doubt he'll have a breakout season. You have to understand that international play and the NBA are two completely different games, not only is the competition tougher in the NBA but in FIBA the rebounding and defense takes a smaller role while jump shooting is how most people score their points. Delfino's game, similar to Carmelo Anthony, is meant for the international playing style. I expect good things from Delfino but he won't be putting up for than 9 or so PPG.

I really hope he does. He has the potential and the versatility. He isnt slow, and is athletic as weve seen glimspes of him. I wonder about his defence, thats it. I want the Raptors to be a lockdown team around the core of Parker, Garbajosa, and Bosh and Bargs depending how they play defensively.
